Deceitfulness of Sin

Deceitfulness

Deceitfulness of Sin

NKJ New King James  NLT New Living Trans  CEB Common English Trans

In the last days, malevolent spirits will trick the Saints of God into believing, sin leaves on lingering residual effects on their lives. Moreover, Satan’s agents are assigned to luring Christians into a state of compromise.

NKJ  Hebrews 3:13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

NLT  Hebrews 3:13 You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. (Heb 3:13 NLT)

Sin comes to life when it has a Human body to execute its immoral desires. Sin achieves its goal when the believer follows a path away from God. Sin not only has a life of its own, but a secret agenda as well. Sin’s power gets stronger over the Believer’s Heart when sin becomes a pattern.

3 By his divine power the Lord has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of the one who called us by his own honor and glory. (2Pe 1:3 CEB)

Rom 1:17 For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

As Christ faithfully restores His servant back to good standards, Sin only wants one more chance at the child of God’s heart.

While the Lord, Jesus Christ has provided everything needed for Godly living, no power can turn us away from God. Its was inquisitiveness deep in Eve’s heart that stirred her to test the fruit. Likewise, overactive imagination was the fall of David, even the children in the Wilderness.

So, let us find joy in serving our reliable and faithful Savior, who paid our ransom and set us free from the power of sin and death. Empowered with success and motivation, we are ordained as overcomes.

NLT  Proverbs 28:13 People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy. (Pro 28:13 NLT)
