Jeremiah 30:10-11
(NLT Study Bible Text,)
11 For I am with you and will save you,”
says the Lord.
“I will completely destroy the nations where I have scattered you,
but I will not completely destroy you.
I will discipline you, but with justice;
I cannot let you go unpunished.”

This is one of the more clear and concise Scriptures in the Bible that emphasize the fairness and impartiality of Adonai, but also His sovereign judgment. What we need to focus on is the parallel of the Israelites’ constant rebellion and the consequences that followed. God’s Grace says that He is still with you; His judgment says that even though you are covenant-bearing Hebrews, because of your rebellion, you will face severe consequences.

I do not claim to understand the total complexity of Scripture, but one thing I do know is that there is a divine and wonderful relation between an Almighty King and His faithful, obedient Only Son. To demonstrate this King’s love for a “once not a people at all”, the King was willing to turn His only Son over to the tormentors to extricate ransom for Israel AND the entire world’s preservation![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”The Righteous Judge” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:36|text_align:center|color:%23822a14″][vc_empty_space height=”22″][vc_single_image image=”10981″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”10982″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]1 Peter 2:9-10
(AMPC) 9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
10 Once you were not a people [at all], but now you are God’s people; once you were unpitied, but now you are pitied and have received mercy.

1 Peter 2:9-10
(MSG) 9 But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you— 10 from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The message of the First Covenant was a contracted relationship between the nation of Israel and The Lord God Almighty and it was a legal obligation. However, God’s Redeemer taught the nation of Israel that a “chosen generation” requires an understanding of why they were chosen in the first place. He or she must become a servant in order to best perform the function or the job they were chosen. The Almighty God had already put in place a plan so that the world could observe this special relationship between a Father and His Son.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Lucifer, the Rebellious One” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:30|text_align:left”][vc_empty_space height=”22″][vc_single_image image=”10960″ img_size=”large” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Now, Lucifer was a non-compliant angel who refused to submit to God’s order, even the Almighty. He deceived mankind to mimic his own rebellious behavior so that their relationship with the Father would be broken. For that reason, Our God sent His Son to demonstrate what real love looked like, even a love unto death.

The God of Israel goes even further. With this dispensation of His Grace, our Heavenly Father extends a covenant unto every nation and every people even though they do not have a legitimate right to a relationship with God. Our Redeemer, Jesus Christ of Nazareth has made a way for the Adoption of the nations with open arms by means of His Crucifixion.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”The Author of our Faith or the Living Testimony of the Son” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:17|text_align:left|color:%23822a14″][vc_column_text]

(International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)

Author
This word is used to translate two Greek words:
(1) aitios, literally, “cause,” hence, “author.” Heb 5:9, He “became the author of eternal salvation.”

(2) archegos = literally, “chief leader,” “prince,” “captain”; then author, originator. It is rendered “author” in the following passages:

(a) Heb 12:2, “looking unto Jesus, the author (AV, RV) and finisher (RV, “perfecter”) of our faith.” But here it seems better to take archelaos in its primary sense, “leader” (RV margin “captain”), rather than in its secondary sense “author.”

The meaning is, not that He is the originator of faith in us, but that He Himself is the pioneer in the life of faith.

He is first in the company of the faithful (compare references to His “faithfulness,” Heb 2:17; 3:2,5,6), far surpassing in His fidelity even the OT saints mentioned in chapter 11; and therefore we are to look to Him as our perfect pattern of faith.

Faith has not only Christ for its object, but Christ for its supreme example.

(NLT) Life in the Spirit
1 So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 2 And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. 3 The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. 4 He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit.
5 Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. 6 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. 7 For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. 8 That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.
9 But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.) 10 And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God. 11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
12 Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. 13 For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live. 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
15 So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]News Updates
As of today’s date, January 1, 2019, the Behold Israel Website is reporting that U.S. troops are to withdraw from Syria over the next four months.
President Trump announced an extended timeline for withdrawal of US personnel from Syria; Reports claim Netanyahu reuested extension; Russia and Turkey to coordinate in Syria, as well as Iraq and Syria.

According to the many prophecies surrounding a time for judgment of the world, there seems to be a significant amount of prophecy pointing to events or ‘signs’ in today’s news.

Since the military might of the US is withdrawing from the Middle East with its fight against ISIS, many Bible prophecies are aligning themselves for such a time as this.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”10975″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d”][vc_column_text]Today’s location of the seven ancient Churches mentioned

in the Book of Revelation is along the eastern side of the nation of Turkey.

Many who believe in the risen Savior “משיח ישוע;  Yeshua Hamashiach means “Jesus the Messiah, was decapitated because of their faith in Christ.”[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_custom_heading text=”Prayer to the Righteous Judge” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:27|text_align:center|color:%23822a14″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11005″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]A righteous Judge is restrained by the Law he/she swears to uphold.
A righteous judge is held to higher standards.
A righteous Judge will never return an unjust verdict for anyone.
Grace was not intended to corrupt a righteous judge’s verdict.

There were men and women in the Bible, who were Biblical examples.
Their lives are lessons that deserve teaching from the housetops.
The prophet, Daniel or “God is my judge”, or “judged of God” was his Hebraic name. Chaldean name of Belteshazzar, i.e., “Prince of Bel,” or “Bel protect the king!”, although he is not once spoken of in the Old Testament as a prophet.

Daniel asked God for the interpretation of a vision. This is another example of God’s desire for a man to pose a question according to His Will.
All of the wisdom of the book of Daniel was held in Heaven until Daniel inquired an understanding of God’s cryptography or mysteries of the visions.

Thus, believers should know that although Lucifer acts like a big bad bully or a roaring lion; he is not in total control of his own situations, Satan is just a pawn in God’s design for the end times. As long as we fear God, there is no need to fear Satan. Adonai’s priests carry the responsibility to ready the people of God for God’s judgment. Moreover, every priest or individuals who share the saving knowledge of Christ and they are causing people to come to true repentance and conversion will arise and shine with Him as bright as the sky.

Lucifer can’t afford for the world to comprehend that the simplicity of eternal life is to fear God and to do His will. This wisdom would change their perceptions of living in eternity.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Let us take a deeper look into Daniel’s dreams and visions:
“Prince of Persia” obstructs the messenger.

This action would make sense, as the divine answer involves the overthrow of the Persian Empire. The angelic messenger finally gets some help from the archangel Michael, who is apparently the prince (or one of the princes) of Israel in the angelic realm (Daniel 10:13, 21).

Daniel 12:2-4
(NLT Study Bible Text,)

2 Many of those whose bodies lie dead and buried will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting disgrace.

3 Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.

4 But you, Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal up the book until the time of the end, when many will rush here and there, and knowledge will increase.”

I believe that at a particular time, the book of Daniel will speak to the world about God’s selected people. After a series of unusual weather events, God will mark His those who are His. Many will lose their self-sufficiency and turn their devotion to trust Yeshua’s redemption.

Backstory of Daniel
(Easton’s Bible Dictionary)

Daniel
God is my judge or judge of God. (1.) David’s second son, “born unto him in Hebron, of Abigail the Carmelitess” (1 Chr 3:1. He is also called Chileab (2 Sam 3:3.
(2.) One of the four great prophets, although he is not once spoken of in the Old Testament as a prophet. His life and prophecies recorded in the Book of Daniel. He was descended from one of the noble families of Judah (Dan 1:3, and was probably born in Jerusalem about B.C. 623, during the reign of Josiah. At the first deportation of the Jews by Nebuchadnezzar (the kingdom of Israel had come to an end nearly a century before), or immediately after his victory over the Egyptians at the second battle of Carchemish, in the fourth year of the reign of Jehoiakim BC (Dan 1),

Daniel and other three noble youths were carried off to Babylon, along with part of the vessels of the temple. There he was obliged to enter into the service of the king of Babylon, and in accordance with the custom of the age received the Chaldean name of Belteshazzar, i.e., “Prince of Bel,” or “Bel protect the king!” His residence in Babylon was very probably in the palace of Nebuchadnezzar, now identified with a mass of shapeless mounds called the Kasr, on the right bank of the river.
His training in the schools of the wise men in Babylon (Dan 1:4 was to fit him for service to the empire. He was distinguished during this period for his piety and his strict observance of the Mosaic law 1:8 16), and gained the confidence and esteem of those who were over him.

After Judah was taken into captivity, Babylon ruled the Promised Land under Nebuchadnezzar. Babylon later fell to the Medo-Persian Empire, which then became sovereign over Jerusalem and the Promised Land. Because of their vassal status, the Jewish captives that returned from Babylon had to ask permission from Cyrus and Darius, the Persian kings, to rebuild the wall and the Temple. The Jews enjoyed a measure of peace, but their freedom depended on the favor of the ruling Persian emperor.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
