Isaiah 38:16-17
(New Living Translation)
16 Lord, your discipline is good, for it leads to life and health.
You restore my health and allow me to live!
17 Yes, this anguish was good for me, for you have rescued me from death
and forgiven all my sins.

When the Gospel is Hidden

Val Gunter: Editor

We tremble at the word of GOD, which we believe is the architect of TRUTH and all Holy things, where an individual who obeys HIS truth becomes a part of His Kingdom. Even Yeshua, (Jesus Christ of Nazareth), was born under the Law (Torah) to be measured by the righteous demands and requirements. Obeying the tenet of the Torah was what The Son of Man was appointed for. The Torah’s goals had to be accomplished in human form; then, Satan was swallowed up in victory and the believers in the Messiah are kept in the kingdom light until we are brought to our final home with Yeshua.

Before the Europeans rewrote Romans 10:8-10, the English version of the Bible.

Romans, 10:8-10 (Complete Jewish Bible 2016)
8  What, then, does it say?
“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.” —
that is, the word about trust which we proclaim, namely, 9  that if you acknowledge publicly with your mouth that Yeshua is Lord and trust in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be delivered. 10  For with the heart one goes on trusting and thus continues toward righteousness, while with the mouth one keeps on making public acknowledgment and thus continues toward “σώζω ; “deliverance.

2 Corinthians 6:2
(AMP)
2 For He says, In the time of favor (of an assured welcome) I have listened to and heeded your call, and I have helped you on the day of deliverance (the day of salvation). Behold, now is truly the time for a gracious welcome and acceptance [of you from God]; behold, now is the day of salvation!

One must remember that the Europeans rewrote the Bible as a European Document in 1611 King James Version. Again, millions came to Christ since then, as the Holy Spirit embraced their faith and they were saved. Here is the shocker; The word in Romans 10:9 for “save,” was the Greek word “σώζω sṓzō;” which means “delivered” that appears all over the New Testament.” For this reason, the Bible still talks about human behavior, even after Calvary.

Jude 1:24
(AMP)
24 Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]—

Here is the definition of the Greek word as it is in Romans 10:9 What is amazing is to those who have truly given their hearts to ADONAI, the GOD of Israel have nothing to worry about, their faith has saved them, and the preserving process of GOD keeps them.

(Complete Word Study Bible Dictionary)
4982. σώζω sṓzō; fut. sṓsō, aor. pass. esṓthēn, perf. pass. sésōsmai, from sṓs (n.f.), safe, delivered. To save, deliver, make whole, preserve safe from danger, loss, destruction. Trans.:
Sṓzō occurs fifty-four times in the Gospels (not counting Luke 17:33 where zōogonḗsei [G2225], to rescue from death, is a better attested reading than sṓsei of the TR; nor Matt. 18:11, omitted in some MSS). Of the instances where sṓzō is used, fourteen relate to deliverance from disease or demon possession (Matt. 9:21, 22; Mark 3:4; 5:23, 28, 34; 6:56; 10:52; Luke 6:9; 8:36, 48, 50; 17:19; 18:42; John 11:12); in twenty instances, the inference is to the rescue of physical life from some impending peril or instant death (Matt. 8:25; 14:30; 16:25; 27:40, 42, 49; Mark 8:35; 15:30, 31; Luke 9:24, 56; 23:35, 37, 39; John 12:27); the remaining twenty times, the reference is to spiritual salvation (Matt. 1:21; 10:22; 19:25; 24:13, 22; Mark 8:35; 10:26; 13:13, 20; 16:16; Luke 7:50; 8:12; 9:24; 13:23; 18:26; 19:10; John 3:17; 5:34; 10:9; 12:47).

The constant messages of “Love and Grace” and the powerful twist the kingdom of darkness places on them, fashions ADONAI, GOD of Israel, as one with empty threats, because HE loves us HE closes HIS eyes and changed HIS ridicule for immorality.

1 John 2:1-6
(NLT)
1 My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous. 2 He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.
3 And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. 4 If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. 5 But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. 6 Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.

This is why every Epistle is filled with the message of repentance and returns to GOD, and for this reason, The Mystery of Babylon, Harlot of False Religions, is so severely dealt with in scripture, likewise the Souls that supported her lies.

No man should take the blood of Christ and make it common.

Hebrews 10:26-30
(New Living Translation)
26 Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. 27 There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies. 28 For anyone who refused to obey the law of Moses was put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

29 Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us. 30 For we know the one who said, “I will take revenge. I will pay them back.” He also said, “The LORD will judge his own people.”

As plain as these are, some follow the doctrine of devils who say that there is no such thing as going back, and set themselves up for spiritual blindness.

How beautiful are the feet that bring Good News!

Hebrews 10:31-38
(New Living Translation)
31 It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
32 Think back on those early days when you first learned about Christ. Remember how you remained faithful even though it meant terrible suffering. 33 Sometimes you were exposed to public ridicule and were beaten, and sometimes you helped others who were suffering the same things.

34 You suffered along with those who were thrown into jail, and when all you owned was taken from you, you accepted it with joy. You knew there were better things waiting for you that will last forever.
35 So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! 36 Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.
37 “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. 38 And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.”

When the Gospel is Hidden

2 Corinthians 4:3-4
(N LT)
3 If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing.

4 Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

In many cases, deception such as this, comes from people whose hearts were never transformed, renewed, or were lied to.

What is the Glory of Christ?

Revelation 12:10-11
(CWSB)
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Psychology is the science of mind and human behavior. To those looking at Christ as one who takes away sin remains close to being spiritually dead. However, those who look at Christ as being the only one who can rid me of this sinful body of corruption, immorality, and selfish greed; have seen the Glory of Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:4 Says there are people who are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News.

The Glory of the Jewish Messiah is what we must psychologically imitate. “The glory of God” must mean His unchanging essence. Giving glory to God is ascribing to Him His full recognition, described in the definition of the Greek word “doxa,” which means “Glory.”

Doxa

(CWSB Dictionary)
1391. δόξα dóxa; gen. dóxēs, fem. noun from dokéō (G1380), to think, recognize. Glory.
A look at the root word of dóxa, i.e., dokéō (G1380), to think or suppose, is necessary. Etymologically, the word primarily means thought or opinion, especially favorable human opinion, and thus in a secondary sense reputation, praise, honor (true and false), splendor, light, perfection, rewards (temporal and eternal). Thus the
dóxa of man is human opinion and is shifty, uncertain, often based on error, and its pursuit for its own safety is unworthy. But there is a glory of God which must be absolutely true and changeless. God’s opinion marks the true value of things as they appear to the eternal mind, and God’s favorable opinion is true glory. This contrast is well seen in John 5:44 as the Lord speaks of the glory that the people were receiving among themselves and the only glory that comes from God (see John 12:43). Glory, therefore, is the true apprehension of God or things. The glory of God must mean His unchanging essence. Giving glory to God is ascribing to Him His full recognition. The true glory of man, on the other hand, is the ideal condition in which God created man. This condition was lost in the fall and is recovered through Christ and exists as a real fact in the divine mind. The believer waits for this complete restoration. The glory of God is what He is essentially; the glory of created things including man is what they are meant by God to be, though not yet perfectly attained (Heb. 2:10; Rom. 8:18-21).
(I) Spoken of honor due or rendered, i.e., praise, applause (Luke 14:10; John 5:41, 44; 7:18; 8:50, 54; 2 Cor. 6:8; 1 Thess. 2:6); of God, e.g., to the honor and glory of God, i.e., that God may be
honored, glorified (John 11:4; Rom. 3:7; 15:7; Phil. 1:11). In Rev. 4:11, “to receive the glory” (a.t.) means to be extolled in praises. In ascriptions of glory or praise to God (Luke 2:14; Rom. 11:36; Gal. 1:5; 1 Pet. 4:11; Sept.: 1 Chr. 16:28, 29 [cf. Ps. 29:9; 104:35; 106:48]). By metonymy, spoken of the ground, occasion or source of honor or glory (1 Cor. 11:15; 2 Cor. 8:23; Eph. 3:13; 1 Thess. 2:20).
(II) In the NT, spoken also of that which excites admiration or to which honor is ascribed.

1 Corinthians 10:6-13
(NLT)
6 These things happened as a warning to us, so that we would not crave evil things as they did, 7 or worship idols as some of them did. As the Scriptures say, “The people celebrated with feasting and drinking, and they indulged in pagan revelry.” 8 And we must not engage in sexual immorality as some of them did, causing 23,000 of them to die in one day.
9 Nor should we put Christ to the test, as some of them did and then died from snakebites. 10 And don’t grumble as some of them did, and they were destroyed by the angel of death. 11 These things happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us who live at the end of the age.
12 If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. 13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

2 Corinthians 11:3-4
(NLT)
3 But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent. 4 You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed.

Isaiah 38:16-17
(NLT)
16 Lord, your discipline is good, for it leads to life and health.
You restore my health and allow me to live!
17 Yes, this anguish was good for me, for you have rescued me from death
and forgiven all my sins.
