Walking in the Spirit

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”9362″ img_size=”large” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d”][vc_column_text]As pastors, we are always praying and watching world events, just as Christ warned His disciples. We are careful to teach about the love of Adonai in the difficult times when our love for one another is the Holy Spirit walking us through critical moments. Demonstrating God’s Love with individuals while they are under Satan’s control is done through understanding the mystery of how nails held a God on a Cross. I have come to realize that spikes had no power over Yeshua. Our Messiah held that position, just as in Jesus’ parable about the good Samaritan. Our Lord explains, the Samaritan not only nursed the traveler back to health, but he paid the fallen traveler’s expected expenses.
So the proof that we are walking in the Spirit and clothed in Christ’s love is our enthusiasm for assisting others.
What we want to avoid is a church full of believers only thanking God for how He loves so much and altogether missing Christ’s Commandment to love our enemies as we love ourselves. Likewise, all together abandoning sharing Christ love toward the hurting and lost souls.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Israel in Bible Prophesy” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:24|text_align:left|color:%23451382″][vc_column_text]

If ever we see Israel involved in wars with nations, the Bible teaches that these signs will usher the end of times. Therefore, we should begin building up one another in the faith, strengthening one another, and getting right with broken relations.
While many will not know how the end of times may look (because of diverse writings about the coming of Christ scattered throughout the Bible), most can remember teachings about the final battle with Gog and Magog, known today as Russia, Iran, and Syria. At this moment these homelands are involved in an increasingly heightened state of tension. Even worse, The Jewish Messiah (Yeshua) warned that the hearts of many who believed would grow unresponsive and experience a “falling away” in the last days at Christ’s return.

(KJV)
4 Nevertheless, I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Revelation 2:4-5[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”9341″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d” css_animation=”fadeIn”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text](CWSB Dictionary)
First Love
πρῶτος prṓtos;
fem. prṓtē, neut. prṓton, adj., the superlative of pró (G4253), forward. Foremost, hence first, the first. The comparative is próteros (n.f.).
The first things, meaning the former state or condition (Matt. 12:45; 2 Pet. 2:20; Rev. 21:4).
In 1 Tim. 5:12 the first faith means the faith originally professed. In Rev. 2:4 referring to love meaning the love first demonstrated (see 2:5).
In this respect, prṓtos stands in direct opposition to kainós[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”The Spirit of Apathy” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:24|text_align:left|color:%23451382″][vc_column_text]As Pastors, we are to prevent this prophetic slumber by warning the believing body of Christ and keeping them in an elevated and heightened state, both in our spirits and in our minds. For example, singing doxologies about who Christ is, trains our souls to recognize the exalted Name of Adonai’s Salvation, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The Name that makes demons tremble and the Saints to worship His great Authority and Sovereignty. Unfortunately, when we fail to keep the body of Christ in an alerted position, the enemy will draw us to complacency.

(Amplified Bible – AMP)
‘If I bring a sword on a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman, 3, and he sees the sword coming on the land, and he blows the trumpet and warns the people, 4 then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his [own] head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning; his blood shall be on himself. But if he had taken warning, he would have saved his life. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, he is taken away because of his corruption and sin; but I will require his blood from the watchman’s hand.’
Ezekiel 33:2-6[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”9351″ img_size=”medium” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d” css_animation=”fadeIn”][vc_column_text]As leaders in the faith continuing to build up the body with the Words of the Messiah, we can admonish believers to exhibit the Spirit-led life before a dying world. While the earth appears hopelessly filled with darkness, we are to become searchlights of God. Likewise, when people notice unusual events around the world and ask questions; a correct answer might mean where they may spend eternity to many. These last days’ events will undoubtedly be so concerning those people who might not be interested in a church will ask about God plans for the Earth and believers will have a valuable opportunity to share their faith.

The Bible warns of diseases and plagues that will strike the earth right before their eyes. Truthfully, those prophetic events will come to past. Nevertheless, saints of God will have such a sense of peace and safety, many unbelievers will come to faith because of God’s ability to protect His people.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”9353″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”right” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d” css_animation=”fadeIn”][vc_column_text]Notes from the Associated Press-International Federation of the Red Cross Monday, May 14, 2018

“Fourteen cases of Ebola have been confirmed in Congo since the outbreak was reported last week, including one death. More than 40 suspected or probable cases — including 25 deaths — are under investigation.
Health officials are trying to track down more than 500 people who have been in contact with those feared infected, a task that became more urgent this week with news that the deadly virus had spread to Mbandaka, a city of more than 1 million.
WHO’s chief flew to the outbreak’s epicenter last week, dozens of staffers have been sent to the country, and thousands of doses of an experimental vaccine have arrived, with more on the way.
On Friday — 10 days after WHO announced the outbreak — the  agency’s expert group convened to decide whether to declare the crisis an international emergency. It decided the situation does not  yet merit   such a declaration. Press)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]KJV)
20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
Revelation 16:20-21

Global warming[1] poses a threat to many ecosystems, but also against many countries. Below is a table of ten nations that will be significantly affected by a rise in sea levels.

Part of this project was an investigation into how a rise in sea level would affect the Netherlands and Vietnam.
As you can see in the tables below, Vietnam is most vulnerable to a rise in sea level in terms of a total number of people affected and second-most vulnerable in terms of percentage of the total population affected. The Netherlands doesn’t feature a big population, but a whopping 47% would be affected by a rise in sea level. About 26% of the land area and 21% of the population of the Netherlands is located below sea level, and only about 50% of its land exceeds one meter above sea level.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”9357″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d” css_animation=”fadeIn”][vc_column_text]Country            People affected            % of total population

Believe it or not, there are some who follow Adonai because He is so amazing, caring and much more than a God who just blesses them. Let us begin to appreciate how He has changed our dark nature into a family of light, who love following the instructions in His word. His greatest creation was turning darkness into light, a darkness that was on the inside of us. Yes, we where children of darkness, but now, we have become teachable, and trainable children of light.

1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3 And this will we do, if God permit.
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
8 But that which beareth thorns and briars is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have showed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Hebrews 6:1-12

(Message Bible)
1 So come on, let’s leave the preschool fingerpainting exercises on Christ and get on with the grand work of art. Grow up in Christ. The basic foundational truths are in place: turning your back on “salvation by self-help” and turning in trust toward God; 2 baptismal instructions; laying on of hands; resurrection of the dead; eternal judgment. 3 God helping us, we’ll stay true to all that. But there’s so much more. Let’s get on with it!
4 Once people have seen the light, gotten a taste of heaven and been part of the work of the Holy Spirit, 5 once they’ve personally experienced the sheer goodness of God’s Word and the powers breaking in on us— 6 if then they turn their backs on it, washing their hands of the whole thing, well, they can’t start over as if nothing happened. That’s impossible. Why, they’ve re-crucified Jesus! They’ve repudiated him in public!
