Revelation 17:1-4
(AMP)
1 ONE OF the seven angels who had the seven bowls then came and spoke to me, saying, Come with me! I will show you the doom (sentence, judgment) of the great harlot (idolatress) who is seated on many waters,
2 [She] with whom the rulers of the earth have joined in prostitution (idolatry) and with the wine of whose immorality (idolatry) the inhabitants of the earth have become intoxicated.
3 And [the angel] bore me away [rapt] in the Spirit into a desert (wilderness), and I saw a woman seated on a scarlet beast that was all covered with blasphemous titles (names), and he had seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was robed in purple and scarlet and bedecked with gold, precious stones, and pearls, [and she was] holding in her hand a golden cup full of the accursed offenses and the filth of her lewdness and vice.

2 For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane. 2 Timothy 3:2

The Prophets Warned Us

Editor: Val Gunter

In the last days spirits of darkness will take their prophetic role as agents of deception.

The intoxication of the earth will include the Churches, Politics, and the secular realms around the globe. Some pulpits will teach doctrines of devils, adding special treatment for those special churchgoers because of the new “Grace Message.” A “Grace Message” promises everybody eternal security, but without a change from one’s formal life.

Isaiah 5:20
(CWSB)
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

2 Timothy 3:1-5
(AMP)
1 But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. 2 For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, 3 [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith].

Believers will have the mind of Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah

Ephesians 2:10
(AMP)
10 For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].

There won’t be any difference distinguishing the church and the profane because anything worldly will exist in the church.

ADONAI Will Judge the Principality Who Sees Herself as the Queen of Heaven and Everyone Who Surrenders to Her Influence.

Revelation 17:3-4
(AMP)
3 And [the angel] bore me away [rapt] in the Spirit into a desert (wilderness), and I saw a woman seated on a scarlet beast that was all covered with blasphemous titles (names), and he had seven heads and ten horns.
4 The woman was robed in purple and scarlet and bedecked with gold, precious stones, and pearls, [and she was] holding in her hand a golden cup full of the accursed offenses and the filth of her lewdness and vice.

What The Prophets Said

(AMP)
The Book of
Joel
Introduction: “The Lord is God” is the meaning of Joel’s name. Although this name was common in the Old Testament, nothing is known about this prophet beyond the content of his book, which says only that he was the son of Pethuel.
Unlike other prophets, Joel does not use a dating formula to begin his prophecy. Because of this, scholars have disagreed on the date of Joel’s ministry and the date when this book was put into writing. Suggested dates range from the ninth century to the fifth century B.C. The traditional view that Joel was written about 830 B.C. seems to be preferred, since the nations and conditions mentioned by Joel best match this period. Also, the prophet Amos indicates an awareness of Joel in his prophecies.
The occasion of Joel’s message was a severe locust plague. Warning the people to turn to God in repentance, Joel announces that the “day of the Lord” is coming and will bring greater judgment. Before that judgment occurs, God will send His Spirit (2:28–32) to bring extended blessings. Peter points to a partial fulfillment of this passage in Acts 2:16 on the day of Pentecost.
Outline:
The locust plague 1:1–12, Joel’s admonition 1:13–20, Warnings and God’s promise 2:1–32, God’s final judgment and rule 3:1–21

Habakkuk 3:3
(AMP)
3 God [approaching from Sinai] came from Teman [which represents Edom] and the Holy One from Mount Paran [in the Sinai region].

Habakkuk 3:5
(AMP)
5 Before Him went the pestilence [as in Egypt], and burning plague followed His feet [as in Sennacherib’s army].

Zechariah 14:12
(AMP)
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the peoples that have warred against Jerusalem: their flesh shall rot away while they stand upon their feet and their eyes shall corrode away in their sockets and their tongue shall decay away in their mouth.

Revelation 6:7-8
(AMP)
7 When the Lamb broke open the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living creature call out, Come!
8 So I looked, and behold, an ashy pale horse [black and blue as if made so by bruising], and its rider’s name was Death, and Hades (the realm of the dead) followed him closely. And they were given authority and power over a fourth part of the earth to kill with the sword and with famine and with plague (pestilence, disease) and with wild beasts of the earth.

Revelation 17:1-4
