Mind of Christ

The Body of Christ has produced many publications, even music exposing Satanic attacks in and around the Body of Christ. Reports about the Devil are necessary, but more subjects regarding demonic entanglements and hidden or secret operations of the Devil are required.
Similarly, faithful believers in Yeshua (Jesus Christ of Nazareth) need discernment of what is and what isn’t the “mind of Christ.” Just because your trial might be a negative experience does not mean that God can’t use it. For example, when Paul was shipwrecked, God turned it around for His Glory. Adonai, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, always provides unique advantages for His Kingdom workers, as rewards for individual achievements.
Then, how can a Christian determine if the attacker is from the Devil or merely an exercise of Faith?

Beware of Gospel Candy from the Deceiver. Although no one should minimize an individual’s suffering and pain, Yeshua will always direct you to His word, whereas Satan exaggerates your pain to one’s self.
The warning here is that Satan offers self-focus and self-gratification to those who lust for power, wealth, fame, affection, or sympathy. At the same time, that ancient serpent’s message also appeals to people who have no hope.

While working on today’s blog, I sensed a strong presence of Yeshua, the Hebrew Messiah in the room. I lifted my hands in worship, and then I saw the Lord place one of His servants into a dark place. Afterward, the dark place became full of Light. I knew that I was supposed to write this vision down. Maybe someone can tell me what it means.

1 Timothy 6:3-6 (NLT)
Jesus Christ. These teachings promote a godly life. 4 Anyone who teaches something different is arrogant and lacks understanding. Such a person has an unhealthy desire to quibble over the meaning of words. This stirs up arguments ending in jealousy, division, slander, and evil suspicions. 5 These people always cause trouble. Their minds are corrupt, and they have turned their backs on the truth. To them, a show of godliness is just a way to become wealthy.
6 Yet, true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth.

In other words, when a believer finds joy in serving the Lord, that in itself is great wealth.

The greatest weapon against the Kingdom of Darkness is one’s LOVE for God.

A heart for God

Proverbs 8:17-21 (CJB)
17 I love those who love me;
and those who seek me will find me.
18 Riches and honor are with me,
lasting wealth and righteousness.
19 My fruit is better than gold, fine gold,
my produce better than the finest silver.
20 I follow the course of righteousness
along the paths of justice,
21 to endow with wealth those who love me
and fill their treasuries.

Exploiting the Word of God

A spirit of Greed in the Chruch

Mark 7:20-22 (Complete Jewish Bible)
20 “It is what comes out of a person,” he went on, “that makes him unclean. 21 For from within, out of a person’s heart, come forth wicked thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22 greed, malice, deceit, indecency, envy, slander, arrogance, foolishness….

1 Corinthians 9:17-19 (NLT)
17 If I were doing this on my own initiative, I would deserve payment. But I have no choice, for God has given me this sacred trust. 18 What then is my pay? It is the opportunity to preach the Good News without charging anyone. That’s why I never demand my rights when I preach the Good News.
19 Even though I am a free man with no master, I have become a slave to all people to bring many to Christ.

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (NLT)
24 Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! 25 All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. 26 So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. 27 I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others, I myself might be disqualified.

There is a disciplined athlete inside me running for the Jewish Messiah

With clear evidence, Paul had the Mind of the Messiah. Also, we know that when our faithful Yeshua (Jesus Christ of Nazareth) dangled from the Cross, He did not deserve to be there. Jesus did nothing wrong and would be justified in being set free. But the Cross was not about getting justification. Neither is it about what we deserve in our everyday life situations; it’s about staying faithful, even when it hurts. Liberation from Lucifer’s power is all about shutting doors to the Devil’s temptations, revealing the real power of Adonai’s Word.

God created the entire world with His Words alone. Notwithstanding, nothing compares to what He has created for an individual of the Body of Christ. Our Heavenly Father continues to create a perpetual domain in the hearts of every child of God.

Apostle Paul prayed for a specific condition plaguing his body, which was a reasonable request. However, the Lord was working out some special Grace for Paul. That condition played a unique role in where the Lord was taking Paul. The significance of Paul’s health issues is not clear, but the Grace of Adonai upon Paul’s latter years is no small measure.

1 Timothy 6:5-6 (Complete Jewish Bible)
5 and constant wrangling among people whose minds no longer function properly and who have been deprived of the truth, so that they imagine that religion is a road to riches. 6 Now true religion does bring great riches, but only to those who are content with what they have.

Believers should live by God’s Word, rather than by fleshly assumptions. The Adversary is lurking for the hurting, disappointed, and discouraged to rekindle spiritual nearsightedness, and then he consumes their spiritual growth. But, by the Grace of God, our secret scars no longer mislead us! Because our God is trustworthy, He takes our miseries and turns them into real ministry, where we are never found whining and complaining.

Paul is thankful because he is fully aware of his circumstances. Paul was once a condemned sinner, but now his sins were dismissed. Furthermore, he was pardoned by Adonai from the sentence of eternal banishment into hell.

Satan’s Servants Disguised as Children of Light.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (NLT)
13 These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end, they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve.

Apostles of Satan are not card-holding, card-carrying members of the Kingdom of Darkness. Many people who are used by Satan are not aware that they are subjects of “mind” manipulation. The problem is that they never knew the meaning of the Mind of Christ. As I mentioned earlier, negative experiences are not always necessarily the Devil’s work. Powerful revelations and faith lessons are born out of diversity, especially after witnessing Yeshua’s operations of His mighty power.

Children stop reading the Bible to experiment with the Occult.

Satan lays an invisible web that entangles an unaware victim, whose thoughts are contributory to the devil’s success. What’s worse is that his victims are never conscious that the strings of the spider’s web have become ropes for the Puppet Master.

2 Corinthians 11:16 – 12:10 (NLT)
Paul’s Many Trials
Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they descendants of Abraham? So am I. 23 Are they servants of Christ? I know I sound like a madman, but I have served him far more! I have worked harder, been put in prison more often, been whipped times without number, and faced death again and again. 24 Five different times the Jewish leaders gave me thirty-nine lashes. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked. Once I spent a whole night and a day adrift at sea. 26 I have traveled on many long journeys. I have faced danger from rivers and from robbers. I have faced danger from my own people, the Jews, as well as from the Gentiles. I have faced danger in the cities, in the deserts, and on the seas. And I have faced danger from men who claim to be believers but are not. 27 I have worked hard and long, enduring many sleepless nights. I have been hungry and thirsty and have often gone without food. I have shivered in the cold, without enough clothing to keep me warm.

When we believe Lucifer

Pride is the root of almost every sin, and the spirit of Pride will dominate the Church in the last days.

30 If I must boast, I would rather boast about the things that show how weak I am. 31 God, the Father of our Lord Jesus, who is worthy of eternal praise, knows I am not lying. 32 When I was in Damascus, the governor under King Aretas kept guards at the city gates to catch me. 33 I had to be lowered in a basket through a window in the city wall to escape from him.

Paul’s Vision and His Thorn in the Flesh
1 This boasting will do no good, but I must go on. I will reluctantly tell about visions and revelations from the Lord. 2 I was caught up to the third heaven fourteen years ago. Whether I was in my body or out of my body, I don’t know—only God knows. 3 Yes, only God knows whether I was in my body or outside my body. But I do know 4 that I was caught up to paradise and heard things so astounding that they cannot be expressed in words, things no human is allowed to tell7 even though I have received such wonderful revelations from God. So to keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and keep me from becoming proud.
8 Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. 9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses so that the power of Christ can work through me.

Easton Bible Dictionary

King Solomon had power, fortune, and wisdom, but what he lacked was humility.
The king entered into an alliance with Egypt by marrying the daughter of Pharaoh (1 Kings 3 3:1). However, nothing further is recorded. He surrounded himself with all the luxuries and the external grandeur of an Eastern monarch, and his government prospered. However, in the end, Solomon became a fool.

10 That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Renewing my mind

2 Corinthians 12:7-10 (NLT)
7 even though I have received such wonderful revelations from God.
10 That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Below, are listed additional scholarly materials to aid in understanding Hebraic word meanings of the term, “Mind.”

(International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)

“Mind”
No Precision in the Terms Used

Hebrew definitions or books from the Apocrypha
Sometimes nefesh or “soul” is rendered by “mind” (Dt 18:6 AV, “desire of his soul” or “mind”); sometimes ruakh or “spirit” (Gen 26:35, “grief of mind,” rukha. Here Luther renders the term Herzeleid (“grief of heart”), and the Vulg animum. Sometimes leiv is used, as in Isa 46:8, “bring it to mind” (literally, “heart”), or in Ps 31:12, “I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind” (literally, “heart”), as in LXX, kardia, and in Vulg, a corde, Luther, im Herzen, new Dutch translated, uit de gedachtenis (i.e. “memory”).
In the Apocrypha this precision is equally lacking. Thus we read in Wisd 9:15, “For the corruptible body soma presseth down the soul psyche and the earthly tabernacle weigheth down the mind nous that museth upon many things.” But these distinctions are alien to the letter and spirit of revelation, a product of the Greek and not of the Hebrew mind.
In the NT the words nous and dianoia are used, but not with any precision of meaning.

Here too, several terms are rendered by the same word. Thus the Hebrew ruakh is rendered by nous in 1 Cor 2:16 (“mind of the Lord,” with reference to Isa 40:13, where “ruakh (spirit of Jehovah)” occurs). Nous evidently means here the organ of spiritual perception–a word borrowed from the LXX, where it is sometimes made to stand for leiv (Job 7:17; Isa 41:22); sometimes for ruakh (Isa 40:13). In Lk 24:45–the solitary text, where nous occurs in the Gospels–it is rendered “understanding” in AV, “mind” in RV.
