SINS OF OMISSION

A sin of omission is when we neglect to use the powerful life-changing sword that is in our hands as ministers of the Almighty. Often, this is because someone wants to become a friend of the world rather than a spokesperson for God. An omission is the dereliction of a minister’s duty when his weapon is used for appeasing rather than for rescuing a lost soul.

Noun
Someone or something that has been left out or excluded.
“There are glaring omissions in the report.”

a failure to do something, especially something that one has a moral or legal obligation to do.

The children of the Most-High must never fall under Satan’s mesmerizing web of lies, With powerful enchantments, demon spirits impersonating the voice of the Holy Spirit will say that the Bible only teaches “Grace and Love,” or the Gospel is “a message hope”. Although it is true that God is Love and He extends His Grace to us, we must always remember that He gives us solid and clear instructions unto victorious living. He alone is our Hope of Glory! Without those instructions, one might fall into the trap of using Grace as an excuse for sin.

Revelation 21:7-8 (AMPC)
7 He who is victorious shall inherit all these things, and I will be God to him and he shall be My son.
8 But as for the cowards and the ignoble and the contemptible and the cravenly lacking in courage and the cowardly submissive, and as for the unbelieving and faithless, and as for the depraved and defiled with abominations, and as for murderers and the lewd and adulterous and the practicers of magic arts and the idolaters (those who give supreme devotion to anyone or anything other than God) and all liars (those who knowingly convey untruth by word or deed)—[all of these shall have] their part in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone. This is the second death.

Revelation 19:5 (NLT Study Bible Text,)
“Praise our God,
all his servants,
all who fear him,
from the least to the greatest.”

Human Doctrine

The Book of Revelation is a stunning glimpse into a loving Savior’s heart, Who is revealing His end-time judgment regarding erroneous human doctrines and rebellious human behavior. In some cases, the human doctrine is today as it was in the Garden of Eden. Satan taught Adam and Eve to stop fearing the Almighty by implying that “you deserve better”. Self-absorbed doctrines introduced by the devil are those teachings that free individuals from the commandment of living holy before our Adonai. The Apostle Peter taught that we have to live a holy life (1 Peter 1:16-17).

1 Peter 1:16-19 (NLT Study Bible Text,)
16 For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.”
17 And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites. He will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time as “foreigners in the land.”18 For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom he paid was not mere gold or silver. 19 It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.

The Jewish Messiah did not pay our ransom with His Precious, Divine Blood for believers to become religious detractors of God’s Word. As a result of lukewarmness, spirits of darkness are allowed in the Churches. The biblical prophecy foretold of a time when some teachers would oppose the truth of the Bible because of their depraved minds and their counterfeit faith. On the other hand, some teachers who knew the correct manner of Messiah’s teachings would not teach from their true convictions, but they would adjust their messages to accommodate popular opinions.

The sin of omission occurs when someone or something has been left out or disregard of an important responsivity. For example, salvation includes the powerful life-changing “δύναμις dúnamis;” strength and ability to overcome test and trials. If the “dúnamis” is missing from a message, an individual might become a “hearer” of the Word, but not a “doer” of the Word. Any change in one’s lifestyle that causes him to no longer live for God is in danger of walking away and forgetting the Levitical law.

James 1:22-25 (NLT Study Bible)
22 But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. 23 For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. 24 You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. 25 But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.

So, when you hear teachers saying, “there is nothing you need to do to be saved but to confess Romans 10:9”. Yes, I agree that is true, however, the original Hebrew Bible makes it obvious that the person should not only confess Christ, but he or she has to continue toward righteousness.

Romans 10:9-13 (Complete Jewish Bible)
9 that if you acknowledge publicly with your mouth that Yeshua is Lord and trust in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be delivered. 10 For with the heart one goes on trusting and thus continues toward righteousness, while with the mouth one keeps on making public acknowledgment and thus continues toward deliverance. 11 For the passage quoted says that everyone who rests his trust on him will not be humiliated. 12 That means that there is no difference between Jew and Gentile — ADONAI is the same for everyone, rich toward everyone who calls on him, 13 since everyone who calls on the name of ADONAI will be delivered.

The difference between the European translation, “thou shall be saved,” and the Jewish, “you will be delivered,” becomes clearer when it is examined by the Complete Word Study Bible Dictionary. Below is the Greek word definition for “saved” in Romans 10:9.

(CWSB Dictionary)

  1. σώζω sṓzō; fut. sṓsō, aor. pass. esṓthēn, perf. pass. sésōsmai, from sṓs (n.f.), safe, delivered. To save, deliver, make whole, preserve safe from danger, loss, destruction. Trans.:
Sṓzō occurs fifty-four times in the Gospels (not counting Luke 17:33 where zōogonḗsei [G2225], to rescue from death, is a better attested reading than sṓsei of the TR; nor Matt. 18:11, omitted in some MSS). Of the instances where sṓzō is used, fourteen relate to deliverance from disease or demon possession (Matt. 9:21, 22; Mark 3:4; 5:23, 28, 34; 6:56; 10:52; Luke 6:9; 8:36, 48, 50; 17:19; 18:42; John 11:12); the remaining twenty times, the reference is to spiritual salvation (Matt. 1:21; 10:22; 19:25; 24:13, 22; Mark 8:35; 10:26; 13:13, 20; 16:16; Luke 7:50; 8:12; 9:24; 13:23; 18:26; 19:10; John 3:17; 5:34; 10:9; 12:47).

So, what is the bottom line? Anyone who trusts Yeshua (Jesus Christ of Nazareth) for their salvation, and then continuing to live out their confessions, shall be saved.

The Sanctity of Human Life

Abortion
Israel’s pagan religion of offering their children to the demon, Molech

Leviticus 20:2-3 (NLT Study Bible Text,)
2 “Give the people of Israel these instructions, which apply both to native Israelites and to the foreigners living in Israel.
“If any of them offer their children as a sacrifice to Molech, they must be put to death. The people of the community must stone them to death. 3 I myself will turn against them and cut them off from the community because they have defiled my sanctuary and brought shame on my holy name by offering their children to Molech.

Allow me to expound on the subject of killing babies and what Bible teachers may have neglected to tell you.

First of all, if you have participated in, or know someone who has partaken in an abortion, the Lord is a Healer and a Forgiver. You might have arranged what you believed to be a harmless and necessary action in order to protect those around you. As fear and panic enclosed around you, it seemed that the only obvious choice was an abortion.
Secondly, let me assure you that if you feel guilty today, it’s okay, that’s part of the healing. Thanks to Yeshua, the Son of God, who put on human flesh; He knows what you are going through. Our Lord has forgiven millions of people who have repented for their sins. Time and time again, He takes that pain and uses it as a platform for helping other women.

If you need Bible Scriptures on the subject of our deceased babies, the following details will arm you with a history of how the age-old paganistic religion has served the devil.
Remember, when you asked for forgiveness; you immediately came over on the Lord’s side. And, your wonderful child or children will welcome you into Heaven’s Gate, with no questions asked. Amazingly, the babies see their mothers as victims and they know all about the powerful demonic spirits that oppress women.

2 Chronicles 28:1-4 (NLT Study Bible Text,)
Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. He did not do what was pleasing in the sight of the Lord, as his ancestor David had done. 2 Instead, he followed the example of the kings of Israel. He cast metal images for the worship of Baal. 3 He offered sacrifices in the valley of Ben-Hinnom, even sacrificing his own sons in the fire. In this way, he followed the detestable practices of the pagan nations the Lord had driven from the land ahead of the Israelites. 4 He offered sacrifices and burned incense at the pagan shrines and on the hills and under every green tree.

The mention of children sacrificed to the pagan gods in the Bible is located in the following books:
2 Ki 23:10 Jer 32:35 2 Ki 16:3 2 Ki 21:6
2 Ch 28:3 Isa 57:5 Jer 7:31 Ezk 16:20
Ezk 16:21 Ezk 20:26 Ezk 20:31 Ezk 23:37
Ezk 23:39 Lev 18:21 Lev 20:2-5

Another subject that is not often talked about is the issue of homosexuality. Ministers emphasize the political correctness of accepting the gay lifestyle which is a form of omission. Not only was this behavior frowned on in the Old Testament, but there was also a noted comparison of Sodom mentioned in the New Testament.

Matthew 11:23-24 (NLT Study Bible Text,)
23 “And you people of Capernaum, will you be honored in heaven? No, you will go down to the place of the dead. For if the miracles I did for you had been done in wicked Sodom, it would still be here today.24 I tell you, even Sodom will be better off on judgment day than you.”

The danger of rejecting the Gospel is clear in Matthew 11:23. It confirms that Sodom was destroyed and five other cities as resulting from the open immorality. If we love the gay community the way we say we do, then we should warn them of the judgment to come upon those who continually practice that lifestyle.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (AMPC)
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality,
10 Nor cheats (swindlers and thieves), nor greedy graspers, nor drunkards, nor foulmouthed revilers and slanderers, nor extortioners and robbers will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God.

One of the greatest truths concerning our Lord Jesus is that He is saddened over the spiritual condition of His people when they lack the building blocks that are so vital in their spiritual growth. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, we see texts that reveal God’s loving, and yet firm execution of His wrath when His people strayed from the teachings of His Holy Word.

Colossians 3:5-10 (NLT Study Bible Text,)
5 So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. 6 Because of these sins, the anger of God is coming. 7 You used to do these things when your life was still part of this world. 8 But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language. 9 Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. 10 Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.

This above letter to the Colossians was talking about the “δύναμις dúnamis,” the power of Adonai that wipes out our brain’s old programming and creates the functionality of the New Man. The difference between the old man and the new creation is that the old man is conscious only to his fallen nature, while the new creation is awakened to the exalted King!

In the last days, some teachers will keep the most important secret from one seeking God, that is the power of conversion “δύναμις dúnamis;” beyond, above one’s strength (2 Cor. 1:8; 8:3). “δύναμις dúnamis;” isn’t something we look for or reach for, but it is an awakening to the intrinsic Authority that takes over in our thinking. Being born-again doesn’t mean that we have been placed on a spiritual “welfare.” It means that it is a fact that Christ has given us His strength to live this life. We have been given power with God to fulfill the perfect Will of Yeshua the Jewish Messiah, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Hallelujah!

(CWSB Dictionary)

  1. δύναμις dúnamis; gen. dunámeōs, fem. noun from dúnamai (G1410), to be able. Power, especially achieving power. All the words derived from the stem dúna- have the meaning of being able, capable. It may even mean to will. Contrast ischús (G2479) which stresses the factuality of the ability, not necessarily the accomplishment.
    (I) Spoken of intrinsic power, either physical or moral, as in the verb dúnamai.
    (A) Of the body (1 Cor. 15:43, “in power” stands in opposition to “in weakness”; Heb. 11:11; Sept.:
    B) Generally (Matt. 25:15; Acts 6:8; 1 Cor. 15:56; 2 Tim. 1:7) a spirit of strength, meaning manly vigor in opposition to a spirit of cowardice (deilías [G1167]) (Heb. 1:3, “His powerful word” [a.t.]; 7:16; 11:34; Rev. 1:16; Sept.: 2 Kgs. 18:20; 1 Chr. 13:8; 29:2; Ezra 2:69; 10:13; Job 12:13). Also in various constructions with katá (G2596), according to one’s strength, meaning as far as one can (2 Cor. 8:3). With hupér (G5228), beyond, above one’s strength (2 Cor. 1:8; 8:3).

2 Timothy 3:5-9 (NLT Study Bible Text,)
5 They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!
6 They are the kind who work their way into people’s homes and win the confidence of vulnerable women who are burdened with the guilt of sin and controlled by various desires. 7 (Such women are forever following new teachings, but they are never able to understand the truth.)8 These teachers oppose the truth just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses. They have depraved minds and a counterfeit faith. 9 But they won’t get away with this for long. Someday everyone will recognize what fools they are, just as with Jannes and Jambres.

1 Timothy 4:1 (Complete Word Study Bible)
Apostasy
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils…

In the last days, changes in the Gospel message will go unnoticed by many. Even though it is demonic in nature, people will heed to it simply because the message sounds friendly, non-judgemental and politically correct.
Now when we read Revelation 2:18 with this understanding, we can see that the sins of the pastor of Thyatira were not so much about what he was “doing” God was more angry about what he was “allowing” in the church.

Revelation 2:18
(Complete Word Study Bible)
2:18-29 1 Thyatira was the least important of the seven cities that are mentioned and was about halfway between Pergamum and Sardis. It was more important commercially than politically.

Revelation 2:19-26
(New Living
T Study Bible Text,)
19 “I know all the things you do. I have seen your love, your faith, your service, and your patient endurance. And I can see your constant improvement in all these things.
20 “But I have this complaint against you. You are permitting that woman—that Jezebel who calls herself a prophet—to lead my servants astray. She teaches them to commit sexual sin and to eat food offered to idols.21 I gave her time to repent, but she does not want to turn away from her immorality.
22 “Therefore, I will throw her on a bed of suffering, and those who commit adultery with her will suffer greatly unless they repent and turn away from her evil deeds.23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches out the thoughts and intentions of every person. And I will give to each of you whatever you deserve.
24 “But I also have a message for the rest of you in Thyatira who have not followed this false teaching (‘deeper truths,’ as they call them—depths of Satan, actually). I will ask nothing more of you25 except that you hold tightly to what you have until I come.26 To all who are victorious, who obey me to the very end, To them, I will give authority over all the nations.
27 They will rule the nations with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots.

(Easton Bible Dictionary)
Jezebel
the daughter of Ethbaal, the king of the Zidonians, and the wife of Ahab, the king of Israel (1 Kings 16 Acts 16:31). This was the “first time that a king of Israel had allied himself by marriage with a heathen princess, and the alliance was in this case of a peculiarly disastrous kind. Jezebel has stamped her name on history as the representative of all that is designing, crafty, malicious, revengeful, and cruel. She is the first great instigator of persecution against the saints of God. Guided by no principle, restrained by no fear of either God or man, passionate in her attachment to her heathen worship, she spared no pains to maintain idolatry around her in all its splendor. Four hundred and fifty prophets ministered under her care to Baal, besides four hundred prophets of the groves [R.V., ‘prophets of the Asherah’], which ate at her table (1 Kings 18:19). The idolatry, too, was of the most debased and sensual kind.” Her conduct was in many respects very disastrous to the kingdom both of Israel and Ju dah 21:1 29). At length, she came to an untimely end. As Jehu rode into the gates of Jezreel, she looked out at the window of the palace, and said, “Had Zimri peace, who slew his master?” He looked up and called to her chamberlains, who instantly threw her from the window so that she was dashed in pieces on the street, and his horses trod her under their feet. She was immediately consumed by the dogs of the street (2 Kings 9 9:7 37), according to the word of Elijah the Tishbite (1 Kings 21 Kings 9 21:19 ).
Her name afterward came to be used as the synonym for a wicked woman (Rev. 2: 20).
