Acts 2:7  They were completely amazed. “How can this be?” they exclaimed. “These people are all from Galilee,8 and yet we hear them speaking in our own native languages!9 Here we are—Parthians, Medes, Elamites, people from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, the province of Asia,10 Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, and the areas of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism), Cretans, and Arabs. And we all hear these people speaking in our own languages about the wonderful things God has done!”

Being Jewish requires a life where everything you do in a day, is consumed in prayer. Below is a short list of prayers that a Jew might pray in a single day.
Jews have been saying the Shemoneh Esrei for at least the past 1800 years; even before then, many prayers, Psalms, Songs, and Poems were meant to show respect for Adonai, the God who hears prayers. A Jew prays three times each day. The longest prayer is first thing in the morning, as soon after sunrise as possible. The afternoon prayer is said between mid-day and sunset, and the evening prayer can be said any time after dusk.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Blessing for waking in the morning
Blessing for putting on the Tallit
Blessing upon putting on the Arm Tefillin
Blessing for telling Adonai “How Good are your Tenants.”
Blessing for Olon Olam “Master of the universe.”
Blessing of Our Heavenly Father (Ashrei) “Praise Worthy”
Shema Israel – Hear O Israel, which is an essential prayer for all Jews
There are many more Jewish prayers that are not listed, but their intent was for all of Messiah’s chosen disciples to have healthy prayer lives.

So, what might have Jesus’ disciple meant by asking Jesus to teach as John taught His disciples to pray? The Lord’s Prayer is from the section of prayers called, “The Amidah or Standing Prayer.” Yeshua taught His students of Scripture the awe, the fear, the wonder, and the reverence of our Heavenly Father.

Matthew 6:9-10
(Amplified Bible – AMP) says to set apart, keep and treat as holy, revere.
A plea for God’s kingdom to be inaugurated on earth.
Including what God wishes to be done by the individual believer—His commands and precepts.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11284″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]The most crucial moment in one’s life is when we discover the awe of God in our hearts. When this reality becomes substance; it becomes evident that Adonai is preeminent, and He exists in a state of superiority. This revelation is the difference between those who “Hallow” His Name and those who struggle in their faith.
So, the Messiah taught His disciples to [ ἁγιάζω hagiázō] Hallow His Name.
That is, to separate His Name from everything that has a name, then learn to place reverence and worthiness of that exalted Name in one’s soul.

Matthew 6:9
(Complete Jewish Bible) ‘Our Father in heaven!
May your Name be kept holy.
Luke 11:1

(CWSB) Disciples How to Pray (Matt. 6:9-15; 7:7-11)
1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

Matthew 6:9
(CWSB) 9 After this manner, therefore, pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Matthew 6:9
(NLT) Our Father in heaven,
may your name be kept holy.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]When God led His people into the wilderness, His purpose was to separate them from the world, then sanctify them unto Himself.

Words cannot explain how Yeshua must feel when He has given His all and still has so much more in store for us, but then we return to the sins of our past.

Any worship or ungodly desires for forbidden things could cause a man to find himself in a position of separation from our Holy Father which is in Heaven.  This would be similar to when the Israelites were placed outside of the camp because they were in violation of the sanctification rules.

Deuteronomy 7:25-26
(NLT Study Bible Text,)

25 “You must burn their idols in fire, and you must not covet the silver or gold that covers them. You must not take it or it will become a trap to you, for it is detestable to the Lord your God. 26 Do not bring any detestable objects into your home, for then you will be destroyed, just like them. You must utterly detest such things, for they are set apart for destruction.

God is a God of relationships. He created us to for connection with Him and fellowship with one another. The Body of Christ is supposed to be an earthly example of God’s redemptive plan. In the case of human pain and suffering, the Lord is much more sensitive to relationships than are humans.
There are hurting children as well as some adults who are still trying to get over wounds inflicted by the Body of Christ. Although they may have grown older, most of their pain has been in their lives since childhood. God cares. He weeps with us. Imagine, if you can, the measure of suffering God feels when we leave Him out of the healing process.
Sadly, broken relationships hurt more than the misunderstanding or the situation that occurred. What may have been merely a spiritual test or temporary trial, became the closing of doors, the loss of anointings and spiritual promotions.
If we want to know why revival in America is taking so long, we should try cleaning our Tabernacles. God wants to navigate His powerful armies through every test and trial so that we can receive Divine appointments in the Kingdom of the Lord and put on the armor we are supposed to wear. Please remember, a broken relationship is not the leading of the Holy One. Fault-finders must be aware that the same amount of fault they have directed onto others will be the same amount returned to them.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Other things that separate us from God
In the Book of Acts, revival didn’t get started in Ephesus until Christians got rid of their occult practices and no longer allowed pagan worship in their homes. The early Church had to learn that, bringing detestable objects into their homes connected them to spirits or demons associated with the Kingdom of Darkness.
After emptying themselves and surrendering themselves to His Word, Our Lord, Jesus Christ did on the Day of Pentecost the same thing that was necessary for the Israelites’ deliverance in the wilderness. He told His believers to set themselves apart in a place and wait. At an appointed time, He poured out His spirit upon all the people who were sitting and waiting for the Promise. Glory to God![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11286″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d”][vc_column_text]Acts 2:1-11
(NLT Study Bible Text,) The Holy Spirit Comes
1 On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. 2 Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. 3 Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. 4 And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.
5 At that time there were devout Jews from every nation living in Jerusalem. 6 When they heard the loud noise, everyone came running, and they were bewildered to hear their own languages being spoken by the believers.
7 They were completely amazed.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]So, if you hear someone say that the Jewish people are more important, or that the Gentiles are more important, do not allow the unGodly seeds of social prejudice and ethnic superiority enter your spirit. The person speaking is in grave error. Adonai does not play favoritism with His children nor does He play the “who’s who” game. We are all one in God.

Romans 10:11-13
(CWSB) 11 For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Galatians 3:6-7
(NLT) 6 In the same way, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” 7 The real children of Abraham, then, are those who put their faith in God.

Galatians 3:5-8
(NLT) 5 I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.
6 In the same way, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” 7 The real children of Abraham, then, are those who put their faith in God.
8 What’s more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would make the Gentiles right in his sight because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said, “All nations will be blessed through you.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]1 Corinthians 6:14-20
(CWSB) Abuses of Christian Liberty

14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of a harlot? God forbid.
16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to a harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body (the Body of Christ), but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
(CWSB) 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you whollyt; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Hebrews 10:10-13
(CWSB) 10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

Hebrews 10:14-17
(CWSB) 14 For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that hare sanctified.
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Hebrews 10:28-29
(CWSB) 28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
