PAGANISM IN THE BOOK OF ACTS

Val Gunter; Editor

When reporters asked her what her thoughts were, now, about testing positive for the Coronavirus, she replied, “I was humbled,” Melania Trump.

If the world’s government would take a lesson from Melania Trump, including President Trump, humility to the God who made Heaven and Earth is the only answer. Humility is first, then ask HIM for help. Save us to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, who are one.

Isaiah 65:1 (NLT

“I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help.
I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me.

I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’ to a nation that did not call on my name.

Isaiah 65:1 (NLT)

Now that I have made such an open statement, few would believe that my comment needs qualifying, but from October 1st thru 31st, the occult community is celebrating Isis, as the mother, and creator of Heaven and Earth, honored by Pagans worldwide. Witches, Wiccans, sorcerers and diviners will celebrate the Fall Festivals [Halloween].

Isaiah 47:1
(NLT)
1 “Come down, virgin daughter of Babylon, and sit in the dust.
For your days of sitting on a throne have ended.
O daughter of Babylonia, never again will you be
the lovely princess, tender and delicate.

Isaiah 47:9
(NLT)
9 Well, both these things will come upon you in a moment:
widowhood and the loss of your children.
Yes, these calamities will come upon you,
despite all your witchcraft and magic.

Isaiah 47:11-15
(NLT)
11 So disaster will overtake you,
and you won’t be able to charm it away.
Calamity will fall upon you,
and you won’t be able to buy your way out.
A catastrophe will strike you suddenly,
one for which you are not prepared.
12 “Now use your magical charms!
Use the spells you have worked at all these years!
Maybe they will do you some good.
Maybe they can make someone afraid of you.
13 All the advice you receive has made you tired.
Where are all your astrologers,
those stargazers who make predictions each month?
Let them stand up and save you from what the future holds.
14 But they are like straw burning in a fire;
they cannot save themselves from the flame.
You will get no help from them at all;
their hearth is no place to sit for warmth.
15 And all your friends,
those with whom you’ve done business since childhood,
will go their own ways,
turning a deaf ear to your cries.

Jennifer Westover (Morning Express, HLN News) reported that the COVID-19 virus is winning! There is an expectancy of an increase in virus cases during this holiday season. Added beds are already set up in some states for the expected breakout of Influenza (flu) patients as well as the increased COVID-19 patients. The stronger the outbreak, the weaker the economy becomes. Joblessness has increased; the latest update is that 989,000 Americans are now receiving benefits for the first time. Additionally, since the last Stimulus Package, six million Americans have slipped into poverty. Due to ongoing fires and inclement weather (hurricanes), it is no longer accurate to use the term, financial recovery. The world is looking into how the United States and Europe will recover from this financial crisis. Westover said a better term would be that our economy is sick (U.S. Dept. of Labor).

This is ADONAI’S judgment against Babylon and her stronghold of magic, witchcraft, necromancy, and sorcery. For any nation who opens the portal to the spirit realm and allows the traffic of High ranking demons to enter will soon lose their prominence, power, and prosperity.

From the Wiccan Web site.

The month of the Witches’ Sabbath is here; as one male witch said in a newspaper article, “Halloween is one of our highest Sabbaths, between two periods, called an Equinox.” An Equinox (equal nox) occurs two times of the year, when the sun crosses the plane of the Earth’s equator and day and night are of equal length.

Wiccans, witches, or any of the Nature religions believe that the Equinox is the time of year when the spirit realm and the physical realm are at their closest. Souls of the dead are said to revisit places such as homes and property.

So the Forest religions worship the demigods of nature, as in the Book of Acts.

Numbers 23:18-23
(NLT)
“Rise up, Balak, and listen!
Hear me, son of Zippor.
19 God is not a man, so he does not lie.
He is not human, so he does not change his mind.
Has he ever spoken and failed to act?
Has he ever promised and not carried it through?
20 Listen, I received a command to bless;
God has blessed, and I cannot reverse it!
21 No misfortune is in his plan for Jacob;
no trouble is in store for Israel.
For the LORD their God is with them;
he has been proclaimed their king.
22 God brought them out of Egypt;
for them he is as strong as a wild ox.
23 No curse can touch Jacob;
no magic has any power against Israel.
For now it will be said of Jacob,
‘What wonders God has done for Israel!’

Who was Tyrannus in the Bible?

Dictionaries – Easton’s Bible Dictionary – Tyrannus. Tyrannus [N] [H] [S] prince, a Greek rhetorician, in whose “school” at Ephesus Paul disputed daily for the space of two years with those who came to him  (Acts 19:9 ). Some have supposed that he was a Jew and that his “school” was a private synagogue.

Tyrannus Definition and Meaning – Bible Dictionary

Acts 19:8-12 (NLT)

 Paul Ministers in Ephesus

8 Then Paul went to the synagogue and preached boldly for the next three months, arguing persuasively about the Kingdom of God.

9 But some became stubborn, rejecting his message and publicly speaking against the “Way.”

 So Paul left the synagogue and took the believers with him. Then he held daily discussions at the lecture hall of Tyrannus.

10 This went on for the next two years, so that people throughout the province of Asia—both Jews and Greeks—heard the word of the Lord.

11 God gave Paul the power to perform unusual miracles.

12 When handkerchiefs or aprons that had merely touched his skin were placed on sick people, they were healed of their diseases, and evil spirits were expelled.

Unfortunately, only after signs from Heaven, as in Mark 16:15 manifested in Paul’s preaching, were people convicted at the works that the God of Heaven performed through Paul. The same is true today, where demonic warfare causes Church folks to look down on anointed men and Godly women who are carrying the grace to cast out demonic spirits. But in the last days, many will realize that they are not walking in the victorious command of Christ and will seek the power of God’s deliverance. They will have powerful testimonies of the power of GOD.

Revelation 2:4-7 (NLT)

4 “But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first!

5 Look how far you have fallen! Turn back to me and do the works you did at first. If you don’t repent, I will come and remove your lampstand from its place among the churches.

6 But this is in your favor: You hate the evil deeds of the Nicolaitans, just as I do.

7 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give fruit from the tree of life in the paradise of God.

Revelation 2:10-11

(NLT)

10 Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you into prison to test you. You will suffer for ten days. But if you remain faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life.

11 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. Whoever is victorious will not be harmed by the second death.

Revelation 2:25-26

(NLT)

25 except that you hold tightly to what you have until I come.

26 To all who are victorious, who obey me to the very end, To them I will give authority over all the nations.

Revelation 3:5-6

(NLT)

5 All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and his angels that they are mine.

6 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.

John’s letter from Christ did not support any guarantees to Heaven without being victorious in Christ. But everyone has the same chance, read the WORD, and believe internally that the promises of God are  yours, then walk like it.

The Church People, From All Around, Confessed Their Sins And Burned Their Books.

Acts 19:13-20

(NLT)

14 Seven sons of Sceva, a leading priest, were doing this.

15 But one time when they tried it, the evil spirit replied, “I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you?”

16 Then the man with the evil spirit leaped on them, overpowered them, and attacked them with such violence that they fled from the house, naked and battered.

17 The story of what happened spread quickly all through Ephesus, to Jews and Greeks alike. A solemn fear descended on the city, and the name of the Lord Jesus was greatly honored.

18 Many who became believers confessed their sinful practices.

19 A number of them who had been practicing sorcery brought their incantation books and burned them at a public bonfire.

The value of the books was several million dollars.

“20 So the message about the Lord spread widely and had a powerful effect.”

Revival didn’t take place until the witchcraft and divination was repented of and burned with fire.

Books of the Occult! Halloween Paganism and Our Fall festivals are the same, written as Witchcraft of the gods of Egypt.

A Wiccan website is recruiting Witches to come together and we can’t teach on the occult from being corrected by pastors proving how smart they are. Let’s reach out to one another so Christ can be seen and discovered.

I spoke last Sunday, where I mentioned how organized the occult world is, as the devil divides the church into fractions. When will we lay down our rankings and recognize one another’s gifts and come together to rescue our nation for God?

A preacher made a challenge saying, “the Body of Christ needs to know that there’s a global body of occult members performing incantations worldwide and are in control of every sphere of society through a network of groups.” If you read anything behind this sentence, please know that it was lifted from a Wiccan site. It is for expressing how organized they are; and how disorganized we are.

The idea that a deeper connection to one’s self is required to explore the energy that surrounds us, minute by minute. The emphasis that it places on reconnecting to one’s intuition and the desire it creates to discover the secrets of the natural world, causes our higher self’s deep-rooted power to manipulate the way we experience the world.
