Sins of Omission 3

Omitting Parts of the Gospel to become more Socially Accepted

(Complete Word Study Bible Dictionary)
God did not choose the Jews as an elect nation with special privileges. His purpose for choosing this tiny nation was to exemplify His Will for the salvation of ALL humankind through what He declared to Israel: “In thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed” (Gen. 22:18). Ex. 19:5f., reveals the purpose of the covenant of Sinai: Since the earth is Adonai’s, Israel is to be “a kingdom of priests, and a Holy Nation” (Ex. 19:6f.).

As Israel was set aside to become a prototype of “a kingdom of priests, and a Holy Nation,” Adonai was sometimes severe because Israel (descendants of Abraham) often displayed acts of rebellion and disobedience.

Romans 11:22-23 (NLT)
22 Notice how God is both kind and severe. He is severe toward those who disobeyed, but kind to you if you continue to trust in his kindness. But if you stop trusting, you also will be cut off. 23 And if the people of Israel turn from their unbelief, they will be grafted in again, for God has the power to graft them back into the tree.

The Lord Helped Pharaoh to regain his fear of God with a Thunderstorm Exodus 9:22-27

The main reason God had a problem with Israel’s disobedience was that He desired an open and trusting relationship with His chosen people to demonstrate to the World the benefits of serving Him – amongst many other Gifts, they would receive His blessings, protection, and prosperity. Furthermore, He knew that people learn by what they see, rather than what they hear. The God of Israel made a total commitment to bless Israel; they experienced wholeness and health within their bodies, their livestock, even nature itself worked on their behalf.

Romans 8:22-23 (NLT)
22 For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us.

All Creation is waiting for the Sons of God (the body of Yeshua) to ascribe Glory to Adonai.

Philippians 2:13-15 (NLT)
13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
14 Do everything without complaining and arguing, 15 so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.

Yesterday, I received a phone call from a minister, asking permission to share a link to the “avinu.info” web site. My immediate reply was, “Yes!” “This is a type of partnership that our Lord Yeshua, (Jesus of Nazareth) wants His Body to look like to a dying world, that is,
Churches are networking and sharing their resources instead of building individual empires.”

Years ago, I had a dream of an end-time event, where chaotic existed worldwide. In the dream, some pastors came to me and asked: “What shall we do to remedy the hunger situation in our World?” My response was: “Let’s set up a place to bring our food resources together so that we can feed the people.” As I am writing this blog, I just realized that the Lord is blessing our ministry with our Church doors being open seven days a week. Not only are we providing much needed natural resources to our community, but within the walls of our church, Holy Spirit-filled worship and prayer is going on every day of the week! Praise God; He has graced us to have two, three, and sometimes more ministries partnering with us to bring spiritual and physical resources to children in our schools, to our elderly, our community and even to our overseas missions! It is because we are submitted one to the other, (religious and none-religious) organizations are collaborating a Divine Assignment to accommodate the community in which we live. We, the Body of Yeshua, are servants to a Lost World just as Christ toiled and labored to bring humanity, into right relations with the Father.

The God of Israel made a total commitment to bless Israel, where they experienced wholeness with their health, their livestock, even nature itself worked on their behalf. So, how does one know when a nation is not in right relations with God?

Where there is a loss of Holiness, one might see that in that place, there is also a lack of wholeness. For example, Monday, 20 2019 tornados were pledging the Mid West States in the United States, including flooding and 4″ diameter hail, which had the circumference of a grapefruit. Few people are talking about the new threat to the farmers’ planting season ends early June. What this means is this year’s first crops, such as corn and soy products must be in the ground in time to mature before their harvest seasons. Even if the rain stops today, farmer’s fields still need time to recover from rain-soaked soil, or their equipment will compact or damage their fields. Even as hurtful to the farmers, their equipment may get stuck or damaged and believe it or not, farmers will need a team of horses to free their farm equipment from muddy fields.

Exactly, what could cause the perfect order of Adonai’s Divine creation of the cosmos to become dis-functional? The World calls it “climate change.” I would ask, “Is this what the Bible calls “doctrinal changes?” It is a time when we pastors forget that Communion is to be served to those who have discerned the Lord’s sacrifice and submission to His Heavenly Father. Who gave up His life and His rights as the Son of God, but became the servant to us all.

The Servant King

1 Corinthians 11:27-31
27 So then whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in a way that is unworthy [of Him] will be guilty of [profaning and sinning against] the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But a person must [prayerfully] examine himself [and his relationship to Christ], and only when he has done so should he eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks [without solemn reverence and heartfelt gratitude for the sacrifice of Christ], eats and drinks a judgment on himself if he does not recognize the body [of Christ]. 30 That [careless and unworthy participation] is the reason why many among you are weak and sick, and a number sleep [in death]. 31 But if we evaluated and judged ourselves honestly [recognizing our shortcomings and correcting our behavior], we would not be judged.

The tragic insult is when we bring bodies that are controlled by Satan and attach it to the Body of the Lord, we are demonstrating gross ignorance or disrespect.

Romans 1:18-21 (KJV)
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

In school, we learned the Spiritual essence of the Hebrew language and its use in creating the universe. There are at least 72 Hebrew words that point to the Lord within His Divine attributes. However, those who speak Hebrew, understand, that with every Hebrew Name of the Lord, one should not attempt to have an audible annunciation of certain Names because of its sacredness. For instance, the secret name of God is only said by a High Priest, such as Moses, or Zachariah, who entered the Temple to intercede for the children of Israel. Jewish tradition believes that if someone misquotes that name, all creation will un-create.

Here is an example of how the universe works: Music and musical instruments were created in Heaven to magnify the Praise to Adonai. The Bible tells us that all things were created ‘by’ Him, and ‘for’ Him (Col. 1:16). Therefore, all creation glorifies the Lord with how they interpret their existence of all things.

When reverence of the Messiah is no longer part of the Church’s purpose, Creation itself will fight back. One then must be careful and not become presumptuous, thinking that the love of God has Christ worshipping us, instead of us worshipping Him. Occupied with self-worship that person is in danger of redirecting God’s reverence, thus teaching that the “Will of God” is now replaced with what “God will allow.”

Believers understand the components of God’s Glory. Just to mention a few things – a bird taking flight from his nest for the first time, a deer walking within an hour of its birth, the ant instinctively knowing how and what it needs to build an ant bed, or flowers and plants getting everything they need from its original seed. Then, as they grow; we see them reaching for the Sun.
All sounds of nature exude from the Presence of Adonai. Likewise, we, His wonderfully made creation should forever give Him praise and adoration! Then there is Humankind, who trembles at God’s Word. All these things were set in order when Adonai spoke to the elements.

When the sons of God allow redirection of Adonai’s Glory, and it becomes self-centered; all creation mourns.

Romans 8:19 tells us that there is an earnest expectation of the creature waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. Things are chaotic because sadly, the children have forgotten their Creator.
The children have forgotten their God.

Romans 1:24-28 (NLT)
24 So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. 25 They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. 26 That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. 27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.
28 Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done.

(The purpose of the Hebrew word “Hallelujah.”
(CWSB Dictionary)
H1984. הָלַל hālal: A verb meaning to praise, to commend, to boast, to shine. The root meaning may be to shine but could also be to shout. The word most often means praise and is associated with the ministry of the Levites who praised God morning and evening (1 Chr. 23:30). All creation, however, is urged to join in (Ps. 148), and various instruments were used to increase the praise to God (150). The word hallelujah is a command to praise Yah (the Lord), derived from the word hālal (Ps. 105:45; 146:1). The reflexive form of the verb is often used to signify boasting, whether in a good object (Ps. 34:2[3]) or a bad object (Ps. 49:6[7]). Other forms of the word mean to act foolishly or to be mad (1 Sam. 21:13[14]; Eccl. 7:7; Isa. 44:25).
Concordance

You might tell someone who is not living a Christian life, “You don’t have to change, just come as you are.” This phrase, though well meant, may cause miscommunication. While this type of teaching sounds socially correct, it could leave a precious soul believing that “God’s Love” equates to instant salvation. All you need is to be loved by God, and you still have the freedom to sin willfully. In other words, the person does not have to allow the Holy Spirit to change his unGodly behavior to receive eternal life. Such teachings will pack people into a church building, but are they packing people into Heaven?

The Bible teaches that one must first repent, submit unto God, and then have a change of mind regarding which “spirit” has the most influence in that person’s faithful adherence to loyalty and reverence.

Why would people turn from their evil ways if they felt there was no need for change in their lives? Even children in their early years of growing up recognize that bad behavior results in a reprimand of some sort. Grownups learn very quickly that we have to obey the laws of this land. Likewise, God has given us specific instructions to follow. Very few people would repent or change if there were no consequences.

Acts 3:19 (NLT)
19 Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.

ἀμετανόητος ametanóētos; not to be concerned after an act has been committed.
(CWSB Dictionary)

  1. ἀμετανόητος ametanóētos; gen. ametanoḗtou, masc.-fem., neut. ametanóēton, adj. from the priv. a (G0001), without, and metanoéō (G3340), to repent or change one’s mind. Unrepenting, impenitent (Rom. 2:5).
Syn.: ametamélētos (G0278), not to be concerned after an act has been committed (Rom. 11:29; 2 Cor. 7:10).

Today, some people are saying, “I know the end is near; just look at the weather.”
I want to be careful here because no one knows the day or time when Jesus will return. However, when we see numerous horrific weather events, we have to stop and repent. Everybody needs to repent. If indeed, today’s weather points to Revelation 7:1-3, where angels control the wind and given the power to harm land and sea; all we know is that such a time will come. Things get a bit scary when dates of historic storms start to coincide with each other!

Others might be saying; “Our loving God said He wouldn’t use floods against the people of the earth.”
I think the Lord said; He won’t destroy the population of the earth by a flood.

Genesis 9:11 (NLT)
11 Yes, I am confirming my covenant with you. Never again will floodwaters kill all living creatures; never again will a flood destroy the earth.”

Adonai Lord God Almighty might use weather as in Exodus 9:22-27 as a sign of Judgment.

Exodus 9:22-27 (NLT)
22 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Lift your hand toward the sky so hail may fall on the people, the livestock, and all the plants throughout the land of Egypt.”
23 So Moses lifted his staff toward the sky, and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and lightning flashed toward the earth. The Lord sent a tremendous hailstorm against all the land of Egypt. 24 Never in all the history of Egypt had there been a storm like that, with such devastating hail and continuous lightning. 25 It left all of Egypt in ruins. The hail struck down everything in the open field—people, animals, and plants alike. Even the trees were destroyed. 26 The only place without hail was the region of Goshen, where the people of Israel lived.
27 Then Pharaoh quickly summoned Moses and Aaron. “This time I have sinned,” he confessed. “The Lord is the righteous one, and my people and I are wrong.

That major weather event in Egypt was designed to produce repentance, from Pharoah.

What is God trying to tell us today?

Revelation 7:1-3 (NLT)
God’s People will be Preserved
1 Then I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds so they did not blow on the earth or the sea, or even on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel coming up from the east, carrying the seal of the living God. And he shouted to those four angels, who had been given power to harm land and sea, 3 “Wait! Don’t harm the land or the sea or the trees until we have placed the seal of God on the foreheads of his servants.”

Behold, at this time tomorrow I will rain down the worst hail that has ever fallen on Egypt, from the day it was founded until now. Exodus 9:22 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, so that hail may fall on all the land of Egypt–on man and beast and every plant of the field throughout the land of Egypt.” Job 38:22

Giant Hail Stones. According to Strong’s Concordance, a talent weight was approximately 100 pounds. Other sources vary widely, ranging from about 60 pounds up to 100. By whatever measure you choose, a hail storm with stones of that size would result in catastrophic damage to just about everything.
