US military confirms terror attack on US base in Kenya

The U.S. military has confirmed that there has been a terror attack on a military base in Kenya that houses some U.S. military personnel. The Somali terror group al-Shabab has claimed responsibility for the attack that Kenyan authorities said had been repelled with four militants killed in the fighting.

It’s that time of year when many Christians around the World are individually soul-searching, by prayer and fasting. We, the body of Believers, pray for the safety of Jerusalem and the revival at the Messiah’s coming. While the Church, orthodox Jews, and the Messianic communities, around the World, mourn for the World’s spiritual health, by fasting and prayer.

Iran vows revenge after U.S. drone strike kills elite force commander

• Iran has vowed to retaliate against the United States. The U.S. Embassy in Iraq has called on all U.S. citizens to leave the country immediately.

• Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Soleimani was planning new attacks against U.S. diplomats in the region and stressed that Washington is committed to de-escalation.

 18:11 – 12 God, I thank You. The tone of the prayer reveals the Pharisee’s problem. He uses the pronoun “I” five times in two verses. The Pharisee’s attitude seems to be that God should be grateful to him for his commitment. The man obviously looked down on other people and was proud of his fasting and tithing. (AMP SB Notes)

Are we in the Faith?

We stand amazed at most Christians who believe that the Bible is about “love and Grace, only. While Love and Grace surely are the consequence of Bible Faith, despite, we sometimes misplace the core teaching from the Prophets, Apostles, and our Lord Yeshua (Jesus Christ of Nazareth) with messages that are pleasant to human reasoning.

Mt 26:24 N lists not less than twenty Tanakh (Old Testament collection of books) passages prophesying that the Messiah would suffer and die for the sins of mankind and be raised from the dead. His death establishes the New Covenant, which itself fulfills a Tanakh prophecy (v. 20 &N).

 24-30 Yeshua resolved the argument… as to which of them should be considered the greatest with two points. First, the Kingdom of God functions differently from worldly kingdoms; those who would be great must be not power-seekers but servants (vv. 25-27) like Yeshua himself (v. 27; Mk 10:41-45; Yn 13:4-5, 12-17). I tell you the truth, that is all the reward they will ever get. 6 But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

So, while we are in fasting and praying in our secret places, we are covered in our spiritual closets with the awe of GOD. Soon, ADONAI approaches.
