I knew that there was plenty of time to do more research on the subject. However, I saw myself in a vision teaching on the Lamb of God. After waking, I immediately knew that I had been thinking, using human wisdom. So, I believe Adonai is narrating a testimony of how He will save the world, for those who trust in His process. And, He will save those who are a part of this generation that seeks Him.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”“I AM,“ הָיָה hāyāh” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:27|text_align:left|color:%23822a14″][vc_column_text]In school, we learned that the verb “I AM,” הָיָה hāyāh means: I exist as an Omnipresent, or an Omniscient verb. Adonai’s names appear as contractions of nouns and verbs of acts or events done in the past. Likewise, He sees His Promises as acts that are already done.  The Lord makes promises to the people He is in a covenant. And, Adonai’s promises already exist somehow in their proper time and place; the hour of visitation.
The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob speaks in a multi-level type of language. He names people or places within the center of their created purpose.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]For instance, our Lord told Moses to tell the descendants of Jacob to place blood on the doorpost of their houses, and apply the blood of the Lamb with a hyssop shrub. The hyssop plant plays the symbolic role of a type of Christ signing and sealing the believer in an everlasting Covenant.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”11476″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d”][vc_column_text]To the Jewish reader, the Tav is the last character in the Hebrew alphabet. Thus, when he sees the Blood of the Lamb smeared on a Door, he will see the Blood of the Messiah’s work inside a Covenant.  This mark will become the New Testament. The character Tav is also the symbol for a Sign (they will look at the sign and associate it with the Lamb of God hanging on the Cross).[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”11507″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Hyssopus officinalis or hyssop is a herbaceous plant of the genus Hyssopus native to Southern Europe, the Middle East, and the region surrounding the Caspian Sea. Due to its properties as an antiseptic, cough reliever, and expectorant, it is commonly used as a medicinal plant.
Some conjecture has risen to the point that Hyssop was a missed translation and the correct translation should be the Marjoram Plant.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”11478″ alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Well, does this revelation destroy the purpose of the hyssop in the Bible story? Absolutely, not! The prophetic message holds together. The characteristic of both shrubs brings forth healing. Think about it: The Blood of the Lamb of God will heal, deliver, and atone. This is another prophetic moment revealing that the Messiah will be immersed, His sacred Blood will be shed, and the applicator is a Bush or a Crown of Thorns stuck on the Ram’s horns, leftover from Abraham’s ram that was caught in the shrub.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”11479″ alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Psalms 51:7-8
(JFB)
Purge … hyssop–The use of this plant in the ritual (Ex 12:22; Nu 19:6, 18) suggests the idea of atonement as prominent here; “purge” refers to vicarious satisfaction (Nu 19:17-20).
8. Make … joy–by forgiving me, which will change distress to joy.
Some argue that the correct translation is the Marjoram Plant. Let see what are the medicinal property the Marjoram plant?

Marjoram, like most essential oils, helps clear the body of toxins. Marjoram essential oil dilates the arteries and improves circulation to the extremities. It is sometimes used to treat high blood pressure and heart conditions. Marjoram essential oil is also used to clear mucus from the chest and lungs.

If this Bible story was speaking prophetically about the effects of the Blood of the Lamb, then this historical event is revealing the hidden properties of the hyssop plant. For that reason, hyssop bush is a message for those who will open the doors of their hearts and allow the Son of God to live on the inside. Additional benefits of the blood being applied to the doorpost of one’s house signify the ability of healing and cleansing. Even better than these benefits, His Blood is atonement for our sins within a covenant for life.
In the Hebraic mindset, what is important about the Hyssop shrub is what it does. The blood is the life of the innocence in parallelism of the Hyssop bush is healing and cleansing.

In Exodus, 12:12, we see that plaques have blanketed the land of Egypt, and the plague of the death of the firstborn males both human and animals alike broke the spirit of the Egyptian Pharaoh, which was the final judgment against Pharaoh and the gods of Egypt.

Exodus 12:12-13
(NLT Study Bible Text,)
12 On that night I will pass through the land of Egypt and strike down every firstborn son and firstborn male animal in the land of Egypt. I will execute judgment against all the gods of Egypt, for I am the Lord!13 But the blood on your doorposts will serve as a sign, marking the houses where you are staying. When I see the blood, I will pass over you. This plague of death will not touch you when I strike the land of Egypt.

Revelation 2:11
(NLT Study Bible Text,)
11 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. Whoever is victorious will not be harmed by the second death.
Revelation 21:6-8
(CJB)
6 And he said to me, “It is done! I am the ‘A’ and the ‘Z,’ the Beginning and the End. To anyone who is thirsty I myself will give water free of charge from the Fountain of Life. 7 He who wins the victory will receive these things, and I will be his God, and he will be my son. 8 But as for the cowardly, the untrustworthy, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those involved with the occult and with drugs, idol-worshippers, and all liars—their destiny is the lake burning with fire and sulfur, the second death.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11493″ img_size=”medium”][vc_column_text]

Here, also is prophetic significance in the fact that a death angel acknowledged the boundaries surrounding those who are kept by the Blood of the Lamb.

Let us not overlook another important segment of the Scripture. Here is an old man, commissioned by Adonai to go into battle. This old man defeated all the gods of Egypt, armed only with the formidable weapon of “go and tell Pharoh what I said.” As Moses obeyed The Lord’s instructions, the Spirit of God was present with Moses engaging the princes of the Demonic Kingdom, who Pharoh worshiped.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”The gods of Egypt” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:25|text_align:left|color:%23822a14″][vc_column_text]

Elohim Adonai summoned the principalities of Egypt, and a test of power was on display – the gods of Egypt against this man that He sent to represent Him.

The authority of Adonai conveyed so much power with Moses that God’s representative defeated the powerful Demons of Alchemy, Spiritual Creature who can transform basic elements into a different element, the magical root of most children cartoons. Nevertheless, the wizards of Egypt warned Pharoh that Moshe’s God is defeating us with one finger.
Moses or Moshe, (Hebrew for “Drawn”). Moses name is a verb meaning “pulled” from a river).

Luke 11:20
(Amplified Bible – AMP)
20 But if I drive out the demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has already come upon you.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”11522″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d”][vc_custom_heading text=”אֱלֹהִים ’elōhiym” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:36|text_align:left|color:%23822a14″][vc_single_image image=”11485″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text](CWSB Dictionary)
H430. אֱלֹהִים ’elōhiym: A masculine plural noun meaning God, gods, judges, angels. Occurring more than 2, 600 times in the Old Testament, this word commonly designates the one true God (Gen. 1:1) and is often paired with God’s unique name yehōwāh (H3068) (Gen. 2:4; Ps. 100:3). When the word is used as the generic designation of God, it conveys in Scripture that God is the Creator (Gen. 5:1); the King (Ps. 47:7[8]); the Judge (Ps. 50:6); the Lord (Ps. 86:12); and the Savior (Hos. 13:4). His character is compassionate (Deut. 4:31); gracious (Ps. 116:5); and faithful to His covenant (Deut. 7:9).

What was Moses’ secret power when he went to war equipped with “I AM said?” God was standing inside of Moshe’s obedience, fighting these powerful gods, as long as Moses continued to obey.
Moses was God’s weapon; His representative in the earth. How much more effective if we knew that we are also God’s ambassadors? We would willingly obey His Word, knowing that God, the I AM, is standing in our submission to His word. We must remember that God is calling us to war against the pseudo-gods of this world, however, He is warring with us and the victory belongs to Him!

The Great “I AM.”
I AM

H1961. הָיָה hāyāh: A verb meaning to exist, to be, to become, to happen, to come to pass, to be done. It is used over 3, 500 times in the Old Testament. In the simple stem, the verb often means to become, to take place, to happen. It indicates that something has occurred or come about, such as events that have turned out a certain way (1 Sam. 4:16); something has happened to someone, such as Moses (Ex. 32:1, 23; 2 Kgs. 7:20); or something has occurred just as God said it would (Gen. 1:7, 9). Often a special Hebrew construction using the imperfect form of the verb asserts that something came to pass (cf. Gen. 1:7, 9). Less often, the construction is used with the perfect form of the verb to refer to something coming to pass in the future (Isa. 7:18, 21; Hos. 2:16).

His divinity is established (1) from the fact that the names of God are ascribed to him (Ex 17:7 Ps 95:7 comp. Heb 3:7 11); and (2) that divine attributes are also ascribed to him, omnipresence (Ps 139:7 Eph 2:17, 18; 1 Cor 12:13); omniscience (1 Cor 2:10, 11); omnipotence (Luke 1:35; Rom 8:11); eternity (Heb 9:4. (3) Creation is ascribed to him(Gen 1:2 Job 26:13; Ps 104:30), and the working of miracles(Matt 12:28; 1 Cor 12:9 11). (4) Worship is required and ascribed to him (Isa 6:3 Acts 28:25; Rom 9:1 Rev 1:4 Matt 28:19).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

(Easton Bible Dictionary)
Moses
On the invitation of Pharaoh (Gen 45:17 -25), Jacob and his sons went down into Egypt. This immigration took place probably about 350 years before the birth of Moses. Some centuries before Joseph, Egypt had been conquered by a pastoral Semitic race from Asia, the Hyksos, who brought into cruel subjection the native Egyptians, who were an African race. Jacob and his retinue were accustomed to a shepherd’s life, and on their arrival in Egypt were received with favor by the king, who assigned them the “best of the land”, the land of Goshen, to dwell in. The Hyksos or “shepherd” king who thus showed favor to Joseph and his family was in all probability the Pharaoh Apopi (or Apophis).
Thus favored, the Israelites began to “multiply exceedingly”(Gen 47:27), and extended to the west and south. At length, the supremacy of the Hyksos came to an end. The descendants of Jacob were allowed to retain their possession of Goshen undisturbed, but after the death of Joseph, their position was not so favorable.

The Egyptians began to despise them, and the period of their “affliction” (Gen 15:13) commenced. They were sorely oppressed. They continued, however, to increase in numbers, and “the land was filled with them” (Ex 1:7. The native Egyptians regarded them with suspicion so that they felt all the hardship of a struggle for existence.
In process of time, “a king [probably Seti I.] arose who knew not Joseph” (Ex 1:8.

Famous Egyptian Gods

Isis is one of the earliest and most important goddesses in ancient Egypt, and she was regarded as the feminine counterpart to Osiris.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Healing in The Blood
Story at-a-glance
Hyssop essential oil exhibit antibacterial and antifungal activity against certain strains of pathogenic organisms. Hyssop oil is currently used in aromatherapy to treat problems linked to the respiratory and digestive systems.
Historical records have shown that the hyssop plant was essential in helping ease minor infections. The good news is, you can reap this plant’s immense health benefits by using hyssop essential oil
Ancient texts, including the Bible, described the many benefits of hyssop or Hyssopus officinalis. Today, the herb still provides these same benefits and is in extensive use. When steam-distilled, the plant produces a very potent essential oil. Below is additional information on hyssop oil.

What Is Hyssop Oil?
The perennial plant hyssop is native to the Mediterranean region and was considered a holy plant in biblical times. During the time of the Romans, this herb was used against the plague, as a disinfectant and for treatment of minor infections. In some parts of the world, it had a spiritual function, and was believed to purify and “forgive sins.”1 Christianity held hyssop in high regard — the herb was cited as a symbol of baptism and reconciliation.2 In other religions, it is associated with purification.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
