I am the Light of the world.

John 8:12
(AMP)
I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life.

Today’s blog was the inspiration of a husband and wife, who were blessed by last week’s blog on the subject “, let your light shine.” But, in my tiny brain, I thought I had this powerful Message about the “Yule Log, with videos of their teaching and worship. However, I could perceive by their expressions, that they were hearing from GOD and I was following my course. The husband said, “you are not finished with teaching on the “LIGHT.” And that was all I needed to get on course with our redeemer.

In human wisdom, we think we have spiritual headlines, Yeshua is saving the world. ADONAI has ways of nudging our directions into a meaningful path when we are sensitive to HIS Light.

The Menorah is one of the most sacred images in Jewish worship. Sabbath begins at sundown on Friday or every seventh day. The seven flames are the fingerprints of the Elohim, the oneness and foundation of everything that is truth. Where everything comes from the root of the tree whose branches support the nations and the people who worship the foundation will exhibit the illumination of knowing the branches and prays there to ascend into the nostrils of the Holy One.

(CWSB Dictionary)
H216. אוֹר ’ôr: A masculine noun meaning light. In a literal sense, it is used primarily to refer to light from heavenly bodies (Jer. 31:35; Ezek. 32:7) but also for light itself (Gen. 1:3; Eccl. 12:2). The pillar of fire was a light for the wandering Israelites (Ex. 13:21). One day God, who is clothed with light (a manifestation of His splendor), will replace the light of the heavens with His own light (Ps. 104:2; Isa. 60:19, 20; cf. Rev. 21:23; 22:5). Light is always used as a positive symbol, such as for good fortune (Job 30:26); victory (Mic. 7:8, 9); justice and righteousness (Isa. 59:9); guidance (Ps. 119:105); and a bearer of deliverance (Isa. 49:6). Expressions involving light include the light of one’s face, meaning someone’s favor.

Even in a more significant conclusion, the Rabbi of a local Messianic Synagogue asked if we would be their first speaker for 2021. What an amazing honor to walk in unity with Messianic Jews and the believing nations worldwide. As the Lord leads us on a path of righteousness as we follow His light.

The Divine Light of the Gospel

Genesis 1:13-19
(Complete Jewish Bible 2016)
(A: ii) 14  God said, “Let there be lights in the dome of the sky to divide the day from the night; let them be for signs, seasons, days and years; 15  and let them be for lights in the dome of the sky to give light to the earth”; and that is how it was. 16  God made the two great lights — the larger light to rule the day and the smaller light to rule the night — and the stars. 17  God put them in the dome of the sky to give light to the earth, 18  to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good. 19  So there was evening, and there was morning, a fourth day.

2 Corinthians 4:6-7
(AMP)
6 For God Who said, Let light shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts so as [to beam forth] the Light for the illumination of the knowledge of the majesty and glory of God [as it is manifest in the Person and is revealed] in the face of Jesus Christ (the Messiah).
7 However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves.

Sometimes the language of the Almighty comes by illumination rather than an expression of agreement. What I mean here is Yeshua, (Jesus Christ of Nazareth), speaks to us in countless ways, when we are walking with Him in the Light.

Genesis 2:8-9
(AMP)
8 And the Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden [delight]; and there He put the man whom He had formed (framed, constituted).
9 And out of the ground the Lord God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight or to be desired—good (suitable, pleasant) for food; the tree of life also in the center of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of [the difference between] good and evil and blessing and calamity.

Acts 9:31
(AMP)
31 So the church throughout the whole of Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was edified [growing in wisdom, virtue, and piety] and walking in the respect and reverential fear of the Lord and in the consolation and exhortation of the Holy Spirit, continued to increase and was multiplied.

Genesis 2:9
(AMP)
9 And out of the ground the Lord God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight or to be desired—good (suitable, pleasant) for food; the tree of life also in the center of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of [the difference between] good and evil and blessing and calamity.

Psalms 25:12-14
(AMP)
12 Who is the man who reverently fears and worships the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way that he should choose.
13 He himself shall dwell at ease, and his offspring shall inherit the land.
14 The secret [of the sweet, satisfying companionship] of the Lord have they who fear (revere and worship) Him, and He will show them His covenant and reveal to them its [deep, inner] meaning.

The light of the Messiah is no Fluorescent, Incandescent, or nuclear fusion such as the sun light, but the Glory of the Son is the glory of Righteousness.

Our Redeemer didn’t come teaching that He came to give men sight but even more than sight Yeshua came to give him insight and with insight, one can penetrate with a capacity to gain an accurate and deep intuitive understanding of a person or thing.

For instance, in the book of John the whole 9th Chapter talks about a man who was born blind. Nevertheless, ADONAI gives him both, sight and insight.

John 9:1-7
(NLT)
1 As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. 2 “Rabbi,” his disciples asked him, “why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents’ sins?”
3 “It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him.4 We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work.5 But while I am here in the world, I am the light of the world.”
6 Then he spit on the ground, made mud with the saliva, and spread the mud over the blind man’s eyes.

7 He told him, “Go wash yourself in the pool of Siloam” (Siloam means “sent”). So the man went and washed and came back seeing!

John 9:4-5
(AMP)
4 We must work the works of Him Who sent Me and be busy with His business while it is daylight; night is coming on, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the world’s Light.

Now the blind man not only has sight but insight to declare the mystery of God.

John 9:28-34
(NLT)
28 Then they cursed him and said, “You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses!29 We know God spoke to Moses, but we don’t even know where this man comes from.”
30 “Why, that’s very strange!” the man replied. “He healed my eyes, and yet you don’t know where he comes from? 31 We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but he is ready to hear those who worship him and do his will. 32 Ever since the world began, no one has been able to open the eyes of someone born blind. 33 If this man were not from God, he couldn’t have done it.”
34 “You were born a total sinner!” they answered. “Are you trying to teach us?” And they threw him out of the synagogue.

John 9:35-39
(NLT)
35 When Jesus heard what had happened, he found the man and asked, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”
36 The man answered, “Who is he, sir? I want to believe in him.”
37 “You have seen him,” Jesus said, “and he is speaking to you!”
38 “Yes, Lord, I believe!” the man said. And he worshiped Jesus.
39 Then Jesus told him, “I entered this world to render judgment—to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.”

Jesus was not only the light of the world, but He simultaneously existed as the only: thoroughfare for travel or transportation from the old Nature to the new beginning. He is the fountain of living waters and the source of our love of Righteousness.

Malachi 4:2
(AMP)
2 But unto you who revere and worshipfully fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings and His beams, and you shall go forth and gambol like calves [released] from the stall and leap for joy.

Psalms 34:7
(AMP)
7 The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe] and each of them He delivers.
