Spiritually growing Churches know that money, fame, or fortune are no longer the goals of pursuit, but the dwellings and the presence of Jesus Christ of Nazareth have become their purpose.

Living Church Ministries REVIVAL 8/01/2020

Editor; Val Gunter

There are significant differences between a church whose objective is to glorify and give thanks in the face of ADONAI and win as many Souls from Hell as possible. The church that’s looking at the clock on Sunday mornings may never hear about the burning tormented soul in hell.

The Bible personifies the Queen of Mystery Babylon as a real person, but her greatest crime was false doctrine, her twisting the word of ADONAI will cause many to spend eternity burning in Hell!
Revelation 18:7 “Give her as much torment and sorrow as the glory and luxury she gave herself! For in her heart she says, ‘I sit a queen—I am not a widow, I will never see sorrow.’ (CJB)

Hebrews 5:11 – 6:6

 A Call to Spiritual Growth

11 There is much more we would like to say about this, but it is difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don’t seem to listen. 12 You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s Word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. 13 For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. 14 Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong.

A Natural Example of Right and Wrong.

Covid-19 is a virus that is spreading all over the world.  Although there is no known cure, there are precautions that we have been given to prevent the spread of the virus. In some cases, the problem is the virus is being spread because of rebellious and disobedient people.  Nobody wants nor expects to get it but there are those people who keep it going by refusing to wear a mask and practice social distancing and thereby giving power to the virus to continue spreading.  Just as Hell has no power to draw people in, their disobedience will always lead them there.

All believers must understand that the body of Christ will undergo judgment. And it’s only fair to know those specific areas of examination. Some believe that just as long as their names are on the Church’s roll, or they have recited some prepared statement, this is all that’s needed to obtain salvation.

The primary way to Biblical salvation is to totally surrender to Christ as Lord and guide, and by Fallowing what Messiah says will cause one to awake to eternal life. James writes about the true Spirit of God, and the true sign of the Holy Spirit functioning in a Believer’s Heart is the fruit they display.

James 3:13-18 (Complete Jewish Bible)

13 Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him demonstrate it by his good way of life, by actions done in the humility that grows out of wisdom. 14 But if you harbor in your hearts bitter jealousy and selfish ambition, don’t boast and attack the truth with lies! 15 This wisdom is not the kind that comes down from above; on the contrary, it is worldly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where there are jealousy and selfish ambition, there will be disharmony and every foul practice. 17 But the wisdom from above is, first of all, pure, then peaceful, kind, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 And peacemakers who sow seed in peace raise a harvest of righteousness. (CJB)

John the Baptist was a Jewish itinerant preacher and forerunner of Jesus Christ. Even though he was not much to look at, his words were more powerful than what he looked like and people were still drawn to him.

Matthew 3:4
4 John’s clothes were woven from coarse camel hair, and he wore a leather belt around his waist. For food he ate locusts and wild honey. (NLT)

Yeshua was not a celebrity Preacher, nor did he have the charisma to move the crowd. If anybody followed Him, it was because they believed and trusted that He was the promised Messiah.

Isaiah 53:1-5 Complete Jewish Bible

1 Who believes our report?  To whom is the arm of ADONAI revealed?

2 For before him he grew up like a young plant,  like a root out of dry ground.

He was not well-formed or especially handsome;  we saw him, but his appearance did not attract us.

3 People despised and avoided him,  a man of pains, well acquainted with illness.  Like someone from whom people turn their faces,  he was despised; we did not value him.

4 In fact, it was our diseases he bore,  our pains from which he suffered;

yet we regarded him as punished,  stricken and afflicted by God.

5 But he was wounded because of our crimes,  crushed because of our sins;  the disciplining that makes us whole fell on him,  and by his bruises we are healed. (CJB)

The incredible Grace of ADONAI falls on those who are believers and immersed in Baptism into the exalted name Yeshua

Hebrews 6:1-6

1 So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. 2 You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding.

4 For it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened—those who have experienced the good things of Heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the Word of God and the power of the age to come—6 and who then turn away from God. It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame. (NLT)

Hebrews 10:19-30

 A Call to Persevere

19 And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter Heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. 20 By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. 21 And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, 22 let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.

23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. 24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

26 Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. 27 There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies. 28 For anyone who refused to obey the law of Moses was put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us. 30 For we know the one who said, (NLT)

1 Peter 2:22-25

2 He never sinned,  nor ever deceived anyone. 23 He did not retaliate when he was insulted,  nor threaten revenge when he suffered.  He left his case in the hands of God,  who always judges fairly.

24 He personally carried our sins  in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin  and live for what is right.  By his wounds  you are healed.

25 Once you were like sheep who wandered away.  But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls. (NLT)

Thank you Jesus. My Lord and My GOD.
