Judgmental

 Judgmental

There is absolutely no room for a Judgmental Demeanor

Is there a place in the Holy Scriptures, where the judgment of God is targeted at people’s opinion? Well, there is something God dislikes as much as He does the practice of wickedness and un-godliness. God has a particular dislike for people who judges other people. But, even worse, there are people who pass judgment on individuals, when they, themselves having done the same things.  Instead of covering a believing brother or sister, they passed judgment as though they were without fault. Just because they were doing okay, at the moment, doesn’t mean that they were overcomers.

As a matter of fact, when we judge someone, we setup an automatic reprisal from God.

Judgemental girls

2:1 Therefore you are without excuse, every man of you who passes judgment, for in that you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.

2 And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things.

3 And do you suppose this, O man, when you pass judgment upon those who practice such things and do the same yourself, that you will escape the judgment of God? (Rom 2:1 NAS)

If God worked out man’s redemption for the purpose of the salvation of the world, who are we who make ourselves override God’s grace, by holding a fellow believer in contempt. Some think that the grace of God was to free mankind from the laws of condemnation, quite the opposite. God’s grace was designed to show the world, God is mercy first, restoration second, and Judgment last.  Furthermore, if God could have a forgiving heart toward our sinful lifestyle, we should jump at any opportunity of a grace proposal.

Romans 2:4 Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? (Rom 2:4 NAS)

Romans 2:4 Or perhaps you despise the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience; because you don’t realize that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to turn from your sins. (Rom 2:4 CJB)

To some, righteous orders from God became un-wanted rules of restraints, to others, God’s order revealed the abundance of His grace.

This brings into remembrance, why there is a misunderstanding of the purpose of the Torah (Law.) The Bible teaches that God gave the Torah to help the World understand the Characteristics by which God is recognized. The Torah exhibited God’s essential qualities, for that reason, God wanted to share these qualities with Mankind.

Romans 3:20 For in his sight no one alive will be considered righteous on the ground of legalistic observance of Torah commands, because what Torah really does is show people how sinful they are. (Rom 3:20 CJB)

Romans 3:20 Consequently, performance of actions indicated by the law will not justify any individual in God’s presence, for the purpose of the law is to identify sin. (Rom 3:20 MIT)

Romans 3:20 For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we a (Rom 3:20 NLT)

At the end of the day, there is unconditionally no room for a judgmental spirit.

  1. How do we balance this blog with the verse below? This is a very good topic and is especially relevant in light of what is happening around us.

17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as a heathen man and a publican. (Mat 18:17 KJV)
