How can the pot understand its Creator when the Pot’s function is the transport what the Creator places on the inside of the pot.

Idle Words

Editor: Val Gunter

In school, we were taught that the Lord Jesus of Nazareth spoke Hebrew to his Disciples, but may have spoken Aramaic to the locals. The main reason for this would have been for the clarity of the message. Hebrew is a picture language with strong uses of verbs as titles and names.

“Yis” is man

“rah” is wrestled; to contend or struggle or to wrestled with one’s conscience

“EL” is the oldest word meaning “LORD” or ADONAI

Israel are the descendants of the man who wrestled with God.

The proper nouns in Hebrew has motion, action, or a function.

Genesis 32:22-28
(CWSB)
Jacob Wrestles With God
22 And he rose up that night, and took — his two wives, and — his two womenservants, and — his eleven sons, and passed over — the ford Jabbok.
23 And he took them, and sent them over — the brook, and sent over — that he had.
24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

Israel came from and action. Jacob wrestled with ADONAI, the GOD of the Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

The disciples came asking Him why are you using different teaching methods with these locals?

Matthew 13:10-13
(NLT)
0 His disciples came and asked him, “Why do you use parables when you talk to the people?”
11 He replied, “You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not. 12 To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them. 13 That is why I use these parables,
For they look, but they don’t really see.
They hear, but they don’t really listen or understand.

The Sovereign King of the universe speaks all the languages of the world. More importantly, He speaks the languages of your “path” in life. Yeshua, King of Kings knows every time you suffer hurt, pain, and every tragedy in your life.

And how many times has Yeshua asked His FATHER to help us to hear, but we looked in the wrong direction.

Why won’t they hear me, why can’t they hear my words?

The Complete Jewish Bible

Matthew 13:10-11
(CJB 2016)
10  Then the talmidim came and asked Yeshua, “Why are you speaking to them in parables?” 11  He answered, “Because it has been given to you to know the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it has not been given to them.

This amazing artwork of a human eye illustrates an eye interpreting its world through the lens and understanding of the content of what’s inside their personal “pots”.

And how many times has Yeshua called for you to see the need to pour into someone’s pot and we didn’t hear clearly? What helps is to know that GOD has given us all a ministry of reconciliation.

Ezekiel 45:16-17
(TLB)
16  “All the people of Israel shall bring their offerings to the prince.
17  “The prince shall be required to furnish the people with sacrifices for public worship—sin offerings, burnt offerings, meal offerings, drink offerings, and thank offerings—to make reconciliation for the people of Israel. This shall be done at the time of the religious feasts, the new moon ceremonies, the Sabbaths, and all other similar occasions.”

So, when you see them with your eyes, open your mouth and let the burning flame of the Gospel of Jesus Christ grab hold of them, in the same way, He did you.

Yeshua Kings is about to return, immerse me into the Gospel Message that I might be saved!

2 Corinthians 5:19
(NLT)
19 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

If the Body of Christ never approach non-believers and pour the awesome Gospel into another’s Pot, many will perish for a lack of perception.

Furthermore, the lost today wish that they could see what the Body of the Messiah sees. Someone has to be a product of the message before they can share the message.

Furthermore, the lost today wish that they could see what the Body of the Messiah sees. We were not saved to be saved unto ourselves, but to share Christ with the lost.

Jesus answered His disciples by saying, they can’t see what your eyes see. Help them to see!

Furthermore, the lost people of this world wish that they could see what the Body of the Messiah sees. How can they see if Yeshua’s Pots won’t go out and let the lost community of the world see what’s on the inside of their Pots.

2 Corinthians 5:18-21
(NLT)
18 And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. 19 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. 20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” 21 For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

Matthew 12:36
(CWSB)
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Here is the definition of the Greek word for “Idol.” ἀργός argós

692. ἀργός argós; fem. argḗ, neut. argón, adj. from the priv. a (G0001), without, and érgon (G2041), work. Not at work, idle, not employed, inactive (Matt. 20:3, 6, with the idea that they chose to be idle; 1 Tim. 5:13; Titus 1:12, “slow bellies,” lazy gluttons; 2 Pet. 1:8, with the idea of indolent, slothful in Christian duty). Idle, insincere, false, unprofitable (Matt. 12:36, “idle word,” insincere language of a person who speaks one thing and means another [cf. 2 Pet. 1:8]).

Matthew 12:36-37
(AMP)
36 But I tell you, on the day of judgment men will have to give account for every idle (inoperative, nonworking) word they speak.
37 For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced.

Matthew 12:35-37
(CJB 2016)
35  The good person brings forth good things from his store of good, and the evil person brings forth evil things from his store of evil. 36  Moreover, I tell you this: on the Day of Judgment people will have to give account for every careless word they have spoken; 37  for by your own words you will be acquitted, and by your own words you will be condemned.”

Jeremiah 9:3
(NLT)
Judgment for Disobedience
3 “My people bend their tongues like bows
to shoot out lies.
They refuse to stand up for the truth.
They only go from bad to worse.
They do not know me,”
says the LORD.

2 Corinthians 12:19-21
(NLT)
19 Perhaps you think we’re saying these things just to defend ourselves. No, we tell you this as Christ’s servants, and with God as our witness. Everything we do, dear friends, is to strengthen you. 20 For I am afraid that when I come I won’t like what I find, and you won’t like my response. I am afraid that I will find quarreling, jealousy, anger, selfishness, slander, gossip, arrogance, and disorderly behavior. 21 Yes, I am afraid that when I come again, God will humble me in your presence. And I will be grieved because many of you have not given up your old sins. You have not repented of your impurity, sexual immorality, and eagerness for lustful pleasure.
