Gospel Candy

The easiest way for an unsuspecting individual to get ripped off by a con man is never to know that the “confidence man or the con artist” uses the victim’s self-deceptive nature for the trick to work. To persuade by dishonest means is the first goal of a swindler, forthwith the victim expects to obtain a great reward, of great satisfaction, utilizing an alternative method or a nontraditional way.

central beliefs under attack

Three central beliefs that will draw Satan’s most vigilant counterinsurgency are: First, the misunderstanding of the role of the Advocate. Second, the subtle moving away from the doctrine of obedience and commandments of Yeshua. Third, the fatal deception amidst the community of the faith, in the area concerning broken relations because of unforgiveness or self-righteousness.

When we fall out with one another, it’s a sure indicator that someone thinks of himself as a much larger part of the Body and one who ignores the dying process as mentioned in the Bible.
Yeshua had a body that could suffer like one of us. Yeshua sweated as though He was one of us. Yeshua bruised as a human and wounds on His Body.

Yeshua had a human body that could be pierced like one of us, and He bled just as any man would bleed. Yeshua dies for us, demonstrating a love that is nothing like ours.

Gospel Candy

In the last days, alternative teachings of the Gospel will come as a result of people no longer searching for the truth. As the Bible warned, many will be led astray because they have “itching ears,” and they eagerly accept “Gospel Candy,” which tastes good although it lacks essential nutrients. Recently I heard a preacher saying that “this new Gospel isn’t a false Gospel but is an incomplete Gospel.” I personally give a lot of respect to a preacher, who walks with Christ close enough to recognizes that an incomplete Gospel leaves the hearer, exposed to Satan’s various misrepresentations and acts of treason against Yeshua (the Jewish Jesus of Nazareth).

Matthew 6:15

forgive your sins

your Father will not

to forgive others,

But if you refuse

After Yeshua forgives you

Matthew 18:34-35 (NLT Study Bible Text,)
34 Then the angry king sent the man to prison to be tortured until he had paid his entire debt.
35 “That’s what my heavenly Father will do to you if you refuse to forgive your brothers and sisters from your heart.”

Satan’s strategy is to separate the Body of Christ. Below are sentiments and concerns that pastors might have, but are not addressing:
1) The loss of members from smaller churches to mega-churches (without reconciliation with their pastors).
2) Division over doctrines, which creates confusion between denominational churches and non-denominational churches.
3) Parachurches finding fault with the traditional churches.
A definition of a Christian parachurch ministry is “a Christian faith-based organization which carries out its mission usually independent of church oversight.” The prefix para- is Greek for “beside” or “alongside.” 4) Jewish communities that have differences with their Messianic brothers’ or All of us falling into Phrasiac Spirit blaspheming the Holy Spirit my judging what doesn’t fit within our theological ideology.

John 9:39-41 (NLT Study Bible Text,)
39 Then Jesus told him, “I entered this world to render judgment—to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.”
40 Some Pharisees who were standing nearby heard him and asked, “Are you saying we’re blind?”
41 “If you were blind, you wouldn’t be guilty,” Jesus replied. “But you remain guilty because you claim you can see.

Adonai is One God

All of our Jewish Messiah gave His broken Body as a sacrifice to create His Body of believers. The Body of Christ will prove to be Adonai’s most proficient accomplishment – Adonai is One God.

For thousands of years, Jews prayed daily the “Shama,” (a revelation of singleness). Christ came to demonstrate that One-ness, Shama.
The Lord is self-restraint self-contained, self-supporting, self-reliant, self-sustaining.
When God created Adam and Eve, they were His priests over the earth. He was in daily fellowship with them in the Garden. Notice how Satan, the serpent came in and separated the Divine alliance between man and God. Here is the first picture of a broken relationship.

Genesis 3:21-22 (NLT Study Bible Text,)
21 And the Lord God made clothing from animal skins for Adam and his wife.
22 Then the Lord God said, “Look, the human beings have become like us, knowing both good and evil. What if they reach out, take fruit from the tree of Life, and eat it? Then they will live forever!”

Adam and Eve obtained the wisdom of the paradigm of life but did not possess the restraint to keep such power under control, Whenever individuals fall in love with power, they will become fearful of the possible loss of control and the prestige that comes with being powerful. In other words, power without limitation opens the doors to abuse of power. And, those who are driven by the appearance of accomplishment will require more attention while destroying others at the expense of making themselves look successful.

Adam and Eve’s behavior shifted, from serving as “Priest of God” to being “hidden from God.” As a result, their motivations changed. Now, infected with the ambitions of the devil (lying, fault finding, displaying victim mentalities, even deception); Adam and Eve’s brief exposure to the Tree of Life left them accusing Adonai of creating the problem.

God Interrogates the Man and Woman

Genesis 3:8-14 (NLT Study Bible Text,)
8 When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the Lord God among the trees. 9 Then the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
10 He replied, “I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.”
11 “Who told you that you were naked?” the Lord God asked. “Have you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?”
12 The man replied, “It was the woman you gave me who gave me the fruit, and I ate it.”
13 Then the Lord God asked the woman, “What have you done?”
“The serpent deceived me,” she replied. “That’s why I ate it.”

Now that Satan has used Adam and Eve to break Adonai’s Heart, now he attacks them with a spirit of condemnation and reproach.

After Adam and Eve demonstrated the susceptibility of being corrupt with tendencies of Satan, Adonai immediately set out to renew their hearts. He restored their relationship with right standing. Even though Adam and Eve broke His heart; we see the God of peace bringing reconciliation to His children.

Today, we do the same thing to each other. Satan influences us to think more highly of ourselves than we should, thus we fall into disobedience. Then, when we realize our separation from a Holy God; we make excuses. We blame someone else. We divide the Body. And, we break God’s heart.
The story of Adam and Eve shows us that every human carries the DNA that can turn us into monsters that destroys one another. Religious pride is as bad as secular, cut-throat, corporate America. We devour one another just as corporate America shuts down opposing businesses to eliminate competition. At the Cross, Jesus took that fault-finding, deceptive agent of darkness and totally annihilated him.

Yeshua (Jesus Christ) did not accuse anyone, blame anyone, judge anyone, but He covered us all.

There is a cost of walking in unity. But, because of Christ, we now have the character, ability, and grace to walk like Him. If we want to see the next move of God, we will have to start creating a place for God while at the same time, subjugating the foothold of Satan.

Acts 3:25-26 (New Living Translation Study Bible Text,)
25 You are the children of those prophets, and you are included in the covenant God promised to your ancestors. For God said to Abraham, ‘Through your descendants, all the families on earth will be blessed. ’26 When God raised up his servant, Jesus, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways.”

(Easton’s Bible Dictionary)
Communion
Fellowship with God (Gen 18:17 -33; Ex 33:9 11; Num 12:7 8), between Christ and his people (John 14:23), by the Spirit (2Cor 13:14; Phil 2:1, of believers with one another (Eph 4:1 6). The Lord’s Supper is so called (1 Cor 10:16, 17), because in it there is fellowship between Christ and his disciples, and of the disciples with one another.

The God of Israel commands all Jews everywhere to observe the blessing and endowment of the “Shama,” and if the Godhead is One, then the Messiah’s community of believers are one.

The Spirit of Truth leads the last day’s believers. Jesus taught that the “Advocate,” “Holy Spirit,” doesn’t hide our sins, but corrects those who love Yeshua and He guides us into the “Way.”

John 14:15-21 (NLT)
Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
15 “If you love me, obey my commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. 17 He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. 18 No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you. 19 Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live. 20 When I am raised to Life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.”

We are required to exhibit the same characteristics of our Lord’s Glory and the qualities seen in His works. As the Body of the Messiah, we must create a Christian identity of unity so that the lost can recognize the power of God.

(Complete Word Study Bible)
Without the Book of Genesis, what would we know about the creation of the universe, the fall of man, the judgment of God, or the promise of redemption? Since God is invisible, we may know of Him only through His works, which are expressed in nature, revealed in Scripture, and accomplished in the lives of believers. And how deficient would our knowledge of God be without this book (walking epistles)? Are not “His eternal power and Godhead” displayed in His creation (Ps. 19:1; Rom. 1:20)?
We cannot let Adonai down. Let’s get rid of our human defects so that we can love one another, and come together to create a place for the Glory of God!

The Complete Jewish Bible warns of a time
1 Timothy 6:3-7 (CJB)
3 If anyone teaches differently and does not agree to the sound precepts of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah and to the doctrine that is in keeping with godliness, 4 he is swollen with conceit and understands nothing. Instead, he has a morbid desire for controversies and word-battles, out of which come jealousy, dissension, insults, evil suspicions, 5 and constant wrangling among people whose minds no longer function properly and who have been deprived of the truth, so that they imagine that religion is a road to riches. 6 Now true religion does bring great riches, but only to those who are content with what they have. 7 For we have brought nothing into the world; and we can take nothing out of it;

Matthew 3:8-11 (AMPC)
8 Bring forth fruit that is consistent with repentance [let your lives prove your change of heart];
9 And do not presume to say to yourselves, We have Abraham for our forefather; for I tell you, God is able to raise up descendants for Abraham from these stones!
10 And already the ax is lying at the root of the trees; every tree, therefore, that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
11 I indeed baptize you in (with) water because of repentance [that is, because of your changing your minds for the better, heartily amending your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins].

If only one church is thriving, that’s not the Kingdom of the Messiah. There is so much more! When the Body begins to look like the Body, and the Glory of our God is on display; only then will we see the Kingdom of the Messiah and our God magnified!

1 Corinthians 10:5-26 (CWSB)
6 Now, these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
15 I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.
16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the Communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the Communion of the Body of Christ?
17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?
19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or — that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?
20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.
22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.
25 Whatsoever is sold in the meat market, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:
26 For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof.
