Zephaniah 2:1-3
(NLT)
1 Gather together—yes, gather together,
you shameless nation.
2 Gather before judgment begins,
before your time to repent is blown away like chaff.
Act now, before the fierce fury of the LORD falls
and the terrible day of the LORD’s anger begins.
3 Seek the LORD, all who are humble,
and follow his commands. Seek to do what is right
and to live humbly. Perhaps even yet the LORD will protect you— protect you from his anger on that day of destruction.

GOD IS GATHERING

Editor: Val Gunter

Zephaniah 2:2
(NLT)
2 Gather before judgment begins,
before your time to repent is blown away like chaff.
Act now, before the fierce fury of the LORD falls
and the terrible day of the LORD’s anger begins.

Joshua 1:1-5
(NLT)
The LORD’s Charge to Joshua
1 After the death of Moses the LORD’s servant, the LORD spoke to Joshua, son of Nun, Moses’ assistant. He said, 2 “Moses my servant is dead. Therefore, the time has come for you to lead these people, the Israelites, across the Jordan River into the land I am giving them. 3 I promise you what I promised Moses: ‘Wherever you set your foot, you will be on land I have given you—4 from the Negev wilderness in the south to the Lebanon mountains in the north, from the Euphrates River in the east to the Mediterranean Sea in the west, including all the land of the Hittites.’ 5 No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.

ADONAI is not trying to harm us, but HE is trying to gather and harvest His believing body.

Zephaniah 3:8
(NLT)
8 Therefore, be patient,” says the LORD.
“Soon I will stand and accuse these evil nations. For I have decided to gather the kingdoms of the earth and pour out my fiercest anger and fury on them.
All the earth will be devoured
by the fire of my jealousy.

As world events continue to take on a more Biblical, prophetic resemblance, Believers must make sure that we are pointing people to the “Grace” of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messianic King.

Out of the pestilences, epidemics, tests, and storms, the Angel of the Lord will gather the overcoming or victorious Christians, who trust in the Grace of our Lord and Savior.

Revelation 2:7
(CWSB)
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Revelation 2:11
(CWSB)
11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Revelation 2:17
(CWSB)
17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Revelation 2:26
(CWSB)
26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

Fruit Examiners

The sickle blade is designed to cut through thick stems, several plants at once. The point is, Jesus Christ of Nazareth used the Sickle as a visual lesson for farmers who lived in a culture where reaping and gathering was understood. So, if an angel comes to you, and draws back his Sickle, you are well-off, however, if the Angel draws an ax, your tree is about to be cut down altogether. In addition, the farmer examines individual fruit, only good fruit.

Remember, if the Angel has an ax in his hand, your tree did not produce good fruit

Matthew 3:10
(NLT)

10 Even now the ax of God’s judgment is poised, ready to sever the roots of the trees. Yes, every tree that does not produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown into the fire. Luke 3:9
(CJB 2016)
9  Already the axe is at the root of the trees, ready to strike; every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown in the fire!”

Revelation 14:18
(CJB 2016)

18  Then out from the altar went yet another angel, who was in charge of the fire; and he called in a loud voice to the one with the sharp sickle, “Use your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth’s vine, because they are ripe!”

Conjecture and Speculation

We should always remember that the Bible is the story of ADONAI’S Messiah. One’s heart is the condition to the fact that scriptures are for conversion, redemption, transformation, sanctification. This list may not be ADONAI’S order, but the circumstance is, GOD is trying to tell us something we need to do.

Satan has always followed the Children of our ADONAI, whispering human-friendly explanations of keywords from the WORD OF GOD. However, Satan’s definitions exist perfectly in today’s humanistic religions where there is no sin. This is why we produce the definition of the Greek word “χάρις cháris” Grace for your convenience below.

Grace

(The Complete Word Study Dictionary)

5485. χάρις cháris; gen. cháritos, fem. noun from chaírō (G5463), to rejoice. Grace, particularly that which causes joy, pleasure, gratification, favor, acceptance, for a kindness granted or desired, a benefit, thanks, gratitude. A favor done without expectation of return; the absolutely free expression of the loving kindness of God to men finding its only motive in the bounty and benevolence of the Giver; unearned and unmerited favor. Cháris stands in direct antithesis to érga (G2041), works, the two being mutually exclusive. God’s grace affects man’s sinfulness and not only forgives the repentant sinner, but brings joy and thankfulness to him. It changes the individual to a new creature without destroying his individuality (2 Cor. 5:17; Eph. 2:8, 9).

(I) Cháris, when received by faith, transforms man and causes him to love and to seek after the righteousness of God. Cháris is initially regeneration, the work of the Holy Spirit in which spiritual life is given to man and by which his nature is brought under the dominion of righteousness. The maintenance of this condition requires an unbroken and immense supply of grace. Grace remains constant in, and basic to, a believer’s fight without against the devil and his struggle within against sin. Renewal is stimulated and impelled by God’s illuminating and strengthening of the soul, and will continue and increase so long as the soul perseveres. God’s grace insures that those who have been truly regenerated will persevere until the end of life. This entire work is called sanctification, a work of God “whereby we are renewed in the whole man and are enabled more and more to die daily unto sin and to live unto righteousness” as is stated by the Westminster Shorter Catechism (Rom. 12:2; 2 Cor. 4:16; Eph. 4:23; Col. 3:10).

There are steep, dangerous angles characterized by a rapid and intensive decline of an angle when the slope is slippery. What we are trying to say is assumptions, such as Conjecture or Speculation can leave negative results after preaching messages filled with human partiality. The dangers are, when we place “Grace” into the wrong hands, some are left believing “grace is an antidote for sinful lifestyle.

The feel-good message, psychologically, is accepted in the human pleasure zone in the Brain more than a prescribed guide for conduct or action. Just don’t run up on Yeshua and ask Him, “What must I do to be saved?” Our Messiah is painfully harnessed and He always told each individual what they needed to do. We thank ADONAI, for when one establishes a relationship with the Holy Spirit, HE will guide us into all truth.

Yeshua will never tell you that, “Grace got you covered,” because Bible Grace belongs to Christ. Jesus Christ of Nazareth graciously invites the world into a covenant with his ongoing grace, love, charity, forgiveness, and mercy which are synonyms of the word grace, with covenant people.

We are reading from the Jewish Bible

Cháris, when received by faith, transforms man and causes him to love and to seek after the righteousness of God. Cháris is initially regeneration, the work of the Holy Spirit in which spiritual life is given to man and by which his nature is brought under the dominion of righteousness.

Romans 6:17-19
(Complete Jewish Bible 2016)

17  By God’s grace, you, who were once slaves to sin, obeyed from your heart the pattern of teaching to which you were exposed; 18  and after you had been set free from sin, you became enslaved to righteousness. 19 For just as you used to offer your various parts as slaves to impurity and lawlessness, which led to more lawlessness; so now offer your various parts as slaves to righteousness, which leads to being made holy, set apart for God.

Let me ask, “Are we enslaved to righteousness?”

δουλόω = Enslaved
STRONG’S NUMBER:g1402

(CWSB Dictionary)

1402. δουλόω doulóō; contracted doulṓ, fut. doulṓsō, perf. pass. dedoúlōmai with the pres. meaning to be a slave, to serve, from doúlos (G1401), slave. To make a slave or servant, to subject, subjugate (Acts 7:6; 1 Cor. 9:19; Sept.: Gen. 15:13); in the pass., to be subjugated, subdued (Rom. 6:18, 22); in the perf. tense, to be dependent (Gal. 4:3). It denotes not so much a relation of service as primarily one of dependence upon, or bondage to, something (Titus 2:3; 2 Pet. 2:19). In 1 Cor. 7:15 the verb refers to a brother or sister being bound by law.

What makes the grace of ADONAI so incredible is the power it transfers to the recipient. The most important benefit of Biblical grace is God’s grace affects man’s sinfulness. The definition below changes the individual to a new creature without destroying his individuality.

Conjecture is an opinion or conclusion formed on the basis of incomplete information.

Speculation is the forming of a theory or conjecture without firm evidence.

Romans 3:24
(AMP)

24 [All] are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus,

Romans 12:1-4
(CJB 2016)

1  I exhort you, therefore, brothers, in view of God’s mercies, to offer yourselves as a sacrifice, living and set apart for God. This will please him; it is the logical “Temple worship” for you. 2  In other words, do not let yourselves be conformed to the standards of the ‘olam hazeh. Instead, keep letting yourselves be transformed by the renewing of your minds; so that you will know what God wants and will agree that what he wants is good, satisfying and able to succeed. 3  For I am telling every single one of you, through the grace that has been given to me, not to have exaggerated ideas about your own importance. Instead, develop a sober estimate of yourself based on the standard which God has given to each of you, namely, trust. 4 For just as there are many parts that compose one body, but the parts don’t all have the same function;

Romans 5:1-10
(CJB 2016)

1  So, since we have come to be considered righteous by God because of our trust, let us continue to have shalom with God through our Lord, Yeshua the Messiah. 2  Also through him and on the ground of our trust, we have gained access to this grace in which we stand; so let us boast about the hope of experiencing God’s glory. 3  But not only that, let us also boast in our troubles; because we know that trouble produces endurance, 4  endurance produces character, and character produces hope; 5  and this hope does not let us down, because God’s love for us has already been poured out in our hearts through the Ruach HaKodesh who has been given to us.
6  For while we were still helpless, at the right time, the Messiah died on behalf of ungodly people. 7  Now it is a rare event when someone gives up his life even for the sake of somebody righteous, although possibly for a truly good person one might have the courage to die. 8  But God demonstrates his own love for us in that the Messiah died on our behalf while we were still sinners. 9  Therefore, since we have now come to be considered righteous by means of his bloody sacrificial death, how much more will we be delivered through him from the anger of God’s judgment! 10  For if we were reconciled with God through his Son’s death when we were enemies, how much more will we be delivered by his life, now that we are reconciled!

Just in Joshua’s day, the LORD’s deliverance won’t be pretty, because we are the light of the world, whose light will shine out of the darkness. One way of looking at the light that shines out of the horrors of those days is the peace and trust we display, while in the furnace of His pursuit.

Christ, the Messiah, is drawn to the quality, state or an instance of being loyal.

Matthew 24:31
(NLT)
31 And he will send out his angels with the mighty blast of a trumpet, and they will gather his chosen ones from all over the world—from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven.

Mark 13:28-33
(NLT)
28 “Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near. 29 In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that his return is very near, right at the door. 30 I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene before all these things take place. 31 Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.
32 “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows. 33 And since you don’t know when that time will come, be on guard! Stay alert!
