Judgment and Final Salvation

Throughout the Bible, ALL scripture points to Yeshua, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the descendants of King David as Messiah and Savior of the World.

One sad point about prophecy is, while divine messages will emerge through time from the mouth of ADONAI, the ability to understand a prophetic utterance depends on a personal spiritual state. In the days when the Messiah was teaching,  Mary lived in the town on Lake Kinneret, home of Mary Magdalene (Miryam of Magdala). Matt. 27:56

Consider, Miryam of Magdala, who fell at the feet of Jesus of Nazareth when He looked at her broken soul. She must have thought; he never noticed I was a prostitute, but with His eyes, He called me His daughter.
On the other hand, Nicodemus just needed Jesus to run that, “born again thing by me once more.”

FINAL JUDGMENT

Editor: Val Gunter

A danger of making Romans10:9 a short cut.

Before one gets to Romans 10:9 there is a narrative already established. The number one rule of interpretation of any scripture is to place the scripture back into the story where it came from, then from that textual flow, read the text inside its own story. Most Christians may already know the narrative of Romans 10th chapter. For those who are not familiar with this passage, Apostle Paul is very emotional at Israel’s lack of ability to understand Salvation by trusting the guarantor or the one who made the promises.

Israel was familiar with Torah keeping, but the Gentile nations would have made a mess of that complex system. Yet, the God of Jacob spoke very clearly by the mouth of Isaiah, the redemption plan by the sacrifice of the Son of GOD, who was the only qualified Ransom who could take away the sin death for the human race.

Nathan’s Prophecy

 2 Samuel 7:12

Linked with Isra’el’s hope is the assurance of national restoration for the Jewish people in their land. Nathan promises David that one will come after him from his own lineage and that God will establish his throne forever (vv. 12–16). Interestingly, 2 Samuel 7:13 says that rather than David building a “house” for God, God will make a “house” out of David through his seed, his descendants. Walter C. Kaiser notes: (CJSB Notes).

Hebrews 6:6
6 If they then deviate from the faith and turn away from their allegiance—[it is impossible] to bring them back to repentance, for (because, while, as long as) they nail upon the cross the Son of God afresh [as far as they are concerned] and are holding [Him] up to contempt and shame and public disgrace. Judgment and Final Salvation

The New Living Translation uses the term “Judgment and Final Salvation to describe Isaiah Chapter 65 in describing the summary and final Salvation of humanity.

Announcing “Now it has come—the Salvation and the power and the kingdom.”

Revelation 12:10-11

10 Then I heard a strong (loud) voice in heaven, saying, Now it has come—the Salvation and the power and the kingdom (the dominion, the reign) of our God, and the power (the sovereignty, the authority) of His Christ (the Messiah); for the accuser of our brethren, he who keeps bringing before our God charges against them day and night, has been cast out!

11 And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing]. (AMPC)

Here, it seems that there is an on-going relationship where the LORD and Savior keep the Saints by His power. Even when threatened, they continued with the same testimony; I believe Jesus Christ of Nazareth is my Salvation because He was dead, and His Father raised Him from the dead, just in the same manner, He will raise us all in the newness of life.

As we continue walking with the Messiah, in obedience to His Word, we will be saved.

Revelation 3:2-6

2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. (CWSB)

Revelation 2:10

10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days; be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

 (CWSB)

Revelation 11:15-19

15 The seventh angel then blew they’re trumpet, and there were mighty voices in heaven, shouting, The dominion (kingdom, sovereignty, rule) of the world has now come into the possession and become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ (the Messiah), and He shall reign forever and ever (for the eternities of the eternities)!

16 Then the twenty-four elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin], who sit on their thrones before God, prostrated themselves before Him and worshipped,

17 Exclaiming, To You we give thanks, Lord God Omnipotent, [the One] Who is and [ever] was, for assuming the high sovereignty and the great power that are Yours and for beginning to reign.

18 And the heathen (the nations) raged, but Your wrath (retribution, indignation) came, the time when the dead will be judged and Your servants the prophets and saints rewarded—and those who revere (fear) Your name, both low and high and small and great—and [the time] for destroying the corrupters of the earth.

19 Then the sanctuary of God in heaven was thrown open, and the ark of His covenant was seen standing inside in His sanctuary; and there were flashes of lightning, loud rumblings (blasts, mutterings), peals of thunder, an earthquake, and a terrific hailstorm. (AMPC)

Here is the fulfillment of the promise of Paul’s Epistle to the Romans, “you be saved.”

Romans 10:9

9 Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (AMPC)

The prophet Isaiah

Isaiah 65:1-3

The English grammatic rule

 1 The LORD says,

“I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help.

I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me.

I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’

to a nation that did not call on my name.

2 All day long I opened my arms to a rebellious people.

But they follow their own evil paths

 and their own crooked schemes.

3 All day long they insult me to my face by worshiping idols in their sacred gardens.

They burn incense on pagan altars. (NLT)

Isaiah 65:23-25

For they are people blessed by the LORD,

and their children, too, will be blessed.

24 I will answer them before they even call to me.

While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!

25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together. The lion will eat hay like a cow. But the snakes will eat dust.

In those days no one will be hurt or destroyed on my holy mountain.

I, the LORD, have spoken!” (NLT)

Romans 10:9-14

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation.

11 For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

To Confess;

3670. ὁμολογέω homologéō; contracted homologṓ, fut. homologḗsō, from homólogos (n.f.), assenting, which is from homoú (G3674), together with, and légō (G3004), to say. To assent, consent, admit, as used commonly in Class. Gr.; to promise, i.e., to agree with or consent to the desire of another.

Romans 10:8-11

“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.” —

that is, the Word about trust which we proclaim, namely,

9 that if you acknowledge publicly with your mouth that Yeshua is Lord and trust in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be delivered.

10 For with the heart one goes on trusting and thus continues toward righteousness, while with the mouth one keeps on making public acknowledgement and thus continues toward deliverance.

11 For the passage quoted says that everyone who rests his trust on him will not be humiliated. (Complete Jewish Bible 2016)

Romans 10:9-10

9 Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] Salvation. (AMPC)
