Doors Left Open

The definition of the English word “Door” is an entryway.

The usual entrance into a house, room or passage

The Book of Revelation within the Bible asserts that Jesus; Yeshua (Hebrew) stands at the door of our hearts knocking for permission to enter. The Messianic mission was not just for a meal, because the word for “Sup” at Revelations 3:20; is the Greek δειπνέω deipnéō, the same exacted word used for paschal supper or the Pass Over.

So, the Jewish reader would have understood the Messiah saying: I want to tell you who I am and what I have done for you. Consequently, I am here to ask your hand in “compatibility.”

Strong’s Concordance word #1172 dinner or supper.

δειπνέω deipnéō; contracted deipnṓ, fut. deipnḗsō, from deípnon (G1173), dinner or supper. To eat or to have dinner. Used intrans. in Luke 17:8; Sept.: Prov. 23:1. Spoken of the paschal supper (Luke 22:20; 1 Cor. 11:25). In the sense of to eat, to banquet, as figurative of Christ’s kingdom (Rev. 3:20). See gámos (G1062), marriage, wedding.

Revelation 3:20 (Jewish New Testament Commentary)

20 God’s readiness to receive repentant sinners, well known from the Tanakh (for example, Zechariah 1:3: “Thus says Adonai of Heaven’s Armies: ‘Return to me, and I will return to you.'”) and restated in the New Testament (Ac 2:38), is the ground for what Yeshua says in this verse. Look, I am standing at the door, knocking. Yeshua does not barge in or bang at the door, but courteously stands there knocking, waiting to be invited in. He does not force his way into people’s hearts, either those of believers who have turned away from him like the Laodiceans, or those of nonbelievers who have not yet received him. On the other hand, he does not stand silently; so that no one could suspect his presence, but he makes his presence insistently yet not intrusively felt through the behavior of believers.

It seems that “enlightenment” has to be trusted by the hearer before the human psyche sanctions it; this doesn’t mean that all enlightenment is ethical. The most useful example is Adam and Eve, who became enlightened after eating the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which is different than the tree of life.

The tree of life supplied its eternal virtues as long as Adam and Eve kept the door shut to the tree of knowledge. Knowledge brought with it the lust to experiment with rebellion. Fallen angels, who were locked away by Adonai knew that Adam and Eve carried the potential power to release the fallen angels from their prison. All was needed was the human mind to desire or admire the fruit from the new tree-religion.

Consequently, to persist as contenders against the Kindom of Righteousness and to maintain an open door for demonic activity, Satan gave the world, tree worship.

In Occult practice, there are those who worship the Tree of Knowledge, rather than the Word of God.

Tree worship was popular among the ancient Occult groups since the tree of knowledge was their source of power. The deer god, the legendary Cernunnosc was their chief deity, the horned god.

The Defiant Child

A disobedient child, who deliberately breaks an expensive item in the home, might turn and wait for the parents to establish limits. But discipline never comes. Children who have never had boundaries in their early development sometimes grow up with criminal minds. All fear is not harmful; there must be limitations and consequences for bad behavior. However, discipline does not include abuse.

Likewise, what defines “Grace” is its ability to assist the offender in “forward movement” toward his or her spiritual development. Adam and Eve were forgiven of their transgression, but in those days, postdated consequences left doors open for the malevolent spirit of that Kingdom to come into the Earth.

“Grow in the Grace”

Acts 20:23 (New Living Translation (NLT) Study Bible Notes)
Paul’s ministry proclaimed the Good News “about the wonderful grace of God” (20:24), and he encouraged Christians to continue in “the grace of God” as they remained faithful to their Lord (13:43). Second Peter similarly closes with a command for Christians to “grow in the grace” of Jesus Christ (2 Pet 3:18). When Paul left the Ephesian elders, he commanded them “to God and the message of his grace,” the divine message that was able to build them up and sustain them (20:32; see 15:40). God’s grace is at the core of the Christian message and the Christian experience, from beginning to end.

Genesis 2:9 (Complete Jewish Bible) 9 Out of the ground ADONAI, God, caused to grow every tree pleasing in appearance and good for food, including the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 2:9 (New Living Translation)

9 The Lord God made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground—trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. In the middle of the garden, he placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 2:9 (Message Bible)

9 God made all kinds of trees grow from the ground, trees beautiful to look at and good to eat. The Tree-of-Life was in the middle of the garden, also the Tree-of-Knowledge-of-Good-and-Evil.

Genesis 2:9 (AMPC)

9 And out of the ground the Lord God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight or to be desired—good (suitable, pleasant) for food; the tree of life also in the center of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of [the difference between] good and evil and blessing and calamity.

The infectious virus of rebellion burst through the doors from Adam and Eve’s disobedience and is found within every person alive. The plague of the walking dead is the punishment of humankind, who floundered their opportunity to know God as He exists. When Adam and Eve walked in the garden alongside the very Presence of God, He was revealing Himself right before their eyes. However, in their rebellion, they were cut off from this Holy understanding of the Almighty. But, God did not give up on Adam and Eve. The Lord gave His humans another chance, where the host of Heaven set out to create and establish a Kingdom through His Son Yeshua, (Jesus) which means “Salvation.”

Colossians 1:13-20 (NLT)

13 For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, 14 who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.

Christ Is Supreme

15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,16 for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on Earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.

17 He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. 18 Christ is also the head of the Church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything. 19 For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, 20 and through him, God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in Heaven and on Earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.

So, the curse that facilitated the corrupted mindset of the humankind produced an anti-Holy God presence. After Adam and Eve’s disobedience came thorns, thistles, sweat (the man had to work) and female inequality (the woman had to submit to man). Interesting, we see later in the Scripture that God made an eternal promise that His woman would crush the head of the serpent!

The worse part of the disobedience is that as a result, full sincere dedication and faithful devotion became impossible, without being forced by Laws and regulations. Nevertheless, our Heavenly Father’s plan for a Redeemer to pay our bond brought us into His sovereign commonwealth. Because God never gave up, He has translated us into the Kingdom of God’s Son. Hallelujah!

Now a believer with the Mind of Christ has victory over the sensual dynamics released from the Tree of Knowledge. His passion that was once driven by the Kingdom of Darkness is replaced by a mind that is wholehearted and sincerely dedicated to Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:3 (AMPC) So, the curse that facilitated the corrupted mindset of the humankind produced an anti-Holy God presence. After Adam and Eve’s disobedience came thorns, thistles, sweat (the man had to work) and female inequality (the woman had to submit to man). However, we should be careful to note that the wife’s submission to her husband is protocol, not abusive nor enslavement.

2 Corinthians 11:3-4 (Complete Jewish Bible)

3 and I fear that somehow your minds may be seduced away from simple and pure devotion to the Messiah, just as Havah (Eve) was deceived by the serpent and his craftiness. 4 For if someone comes and tells you about some other Yeshua than the one we told you about, or if you receive a spirit different from the one you received or accept some so-called “good news” different from the Good News you already accepted, you bear with him well enough!

(Easton Bible Dictionary)

Doors moved on pivots of wood fastened in sockets above and below (Prov 26:14). They were fastened by a lock (Judg 3:23, 25; Cant 5:5 or by a bar (Judg 16:3 Job 38:10). In the interior of Oriental houses, curtains were frequently used instead of doors.

The entrances of the tabernacle had curtains (Ex 26:31 -33, 36). The “valley of Achor” is called a “door of hope,” because immediately after the execution of Achan the Lord said to Joshua, “Fear not,” and from that time Joshua went forward in a career of uninterrupted conquest. Paul speaks of a “door opened” for the spread of the gospel (1 Cor 16:9 2 Cor 2:12; Col 4:3. Our Lord says of himself, “I am the door” (John 10:9. John (Rev 4:1 speaks of a “door opened in heaven.”

1 Corinthians 16:8-9 (NLT)

8 In the meantime, I will be staying here at Ephesus until the Festival of Pentecost. 9 There is a wide-open door for a great work here, although many oppose me.

Doorkeeper dorkep-er shoeir The gates of an oriental city and of the temple courts so closely resembled the door of a house that the same Hebrew word was used for doorkeeper and gatekeeper. It is often translated by the less definite word “porter” (which see).

In the preexilic writings (2 Sa 18:26; 2 Ki 7:10,11) reference is made to porters at the gates of the cities Mahanaim and Samaria. In these early writings there is also mention of a small number of “keepers of the threshold” of the temple, whose duties included the gathering of money from the people for temple purposes, and the care of the sacred vessels (2 Ki 12:9; 22:4; 23:4). They held an honorable position (2 Ki 25:18), and occupied chambers in the temple (Jer 35:4). The same term is used to describe officers in the household of the king of Persia (Est 2:21; 6:2).

Unfortunately, gateways still exist for rebellious minds. And, many have joined the Kingdom of Darkness army by reopening portholes from the spirit realm, allowing demons to influence every element of society.

Curious arts, such as line art drawings, formulas made with oils, herbs, and crystals are all different forms of witchcraft. More concerning is that the internet is one of the most used recruiting devices for Satan’s Kingdom. Children, interested in magic or superpowers are easy targets.

Many Christians are fighting this spiritual war around the world through powerful intercession, pulling down strongholds over their cities. Principalities are snatched down through prayers that resist interference over the affairs of nations. We must also teach the Church about territorial kingdoms of demigods that rage war against the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Yeshua our Hebraic Redeemer.

Churches need to cry out against the sexual revolution in the world today. The glorification of witchcraft, mysticism, and sorcery is on just about every children’s cable network.

While I agree that people can do whatever they want to do with their bodies, some have used ancient live art as personal expressions. Such drawings were historically used to make pacts with certain demonic groups.

Israel’s King Ahaz sacrificing his own sons

2 Chronicles 28:1-4 (NLT)
Ahaz Rules in Judah
1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. He did not do what was pleasing in the sight of the Lord, as his ancestor David had done. 2 Instead, he followed the example of the kings of Israel. He cast metal images for the worship of Baal. 3 He offered sacrifices in the valley of Ben-Hinnom, even sacrificing his own sons in the fire. In this way, he followed the detestable practices of the pagan nations the Lord had driven from the land ahead of the Israelites. 4 He offered sacrifices and burned incense at the pagan shrines and on the hills and under every green tree.

Also, when someone takes on the personality of an evil warrior in video games; there is a strong possibility that it is rewiring our children’s psychological blueprint. Demon spirits are looking for paths of entrance through behavior, artwork, occult reading or occult objects in the home.

Meditation with an incarnate spiritual teacher.

Avatar. Generally speaking, an avatar is the embodiment of a person or idea. However, in the computer world, an avatar specifically refers to a character that represents an online user. … Once a user has created an avatar, he or she becomes part of an online community filled with other users’ avatars

Eastern Religions Avatar

a manifestation of a deity or released soul in bodily form on earth; an incarnate divine teacher.

Avatar derives from a Sanskrit word meaning “descent,” and when it first appeared in English in the late 18th century, it referred to the descent of a deity to the earth—typically, the incarnation in earthly form of Vishnu or another Hindu deity.

An individual’s fascination with ancient religions can open mental attacks against young minds. For this reason, intercessors are pushing back occult spirits while ascribing Glory to the Name of Christ, Jesus!
