In the last days, Pastors whom GOD has in His hands will be compelled by the HOLY SPIRIT to teach their congregations and be victorious as overcomers, for there is nothing to fear when they follow Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah. 

Satan’s Strategy has never changed; he loves to outwit the LORD’s people, getting them to bring forbidden ancient Occult practices in The LORD’S face. Israel and some of her Kings have compromised the sacred places throughout history. So when we set out Jack-o-lanterns on the porch, understand that The Pagans did this as a counter spell to ward off evil demon spirits.

The Jack-o-Lantern is one of the most prominent symbols of Halloween. Every year around Halloween time people take home pumpkins and begin carving them into Jack-o-Lanterns. While countless people engage in the creation of the Jack-o-Lantern, I often find that many are not familiar with where this tradition comes from or the folklore behind it. Right now, I’m writing this article here in Salem, Massachusetts where I have spent the last six Octobers. Salem is considered to be the “Halloween Capital of the World” mostly due to its history and associations with witchcraft. However, Halloween wasn’t originally celebrated by the New England colonies – especially within Salem, which was immensely Puritan – a main factor in the Salem Witch Trials hysteria.

Halloween was originally rooted in the Pagan Gaelic celebration of Samhain, a time when the veil between this world and the world of spirits was the thinnest and those who had passed over to the world of spirits were honored and remembered.

Samhain was Christianized and adopted in Catholicism as Christianity rose as the predominant religion. Halloween also marked the day that Martin Luther posted his 95 Thesis on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany. This lead to the Protestant schism of Catholicism and many Protestant Christians observe Halloween as Reformation Day, commemorating the act that splintered Christianity away from the Catholic Church. When America was being colonized, it was colonized primarily by pilgrims who were Protestants searching for a new land to openly and freely worship outside of Catholicism.

Puritans didn’t celebrate any religious holidays, including Halloween, which was a Catholic holiday. In fact, the Puritans didn’t even celebrate Christmas, going so far as to ban Christmas in 1659 with a fine for anyone who observed the holiday. During the 1840s, Halloween re-emerged in the Southern colonies such as Virginia with the influx of Irish immigrants. The potato famine of Ireland brought many Irish Catholic immigrants to these Southern Colonies and with them their customs, including their Halloween customs. It’s only something to entertain the youth or we are doing this to keep the youth in the church. While both reasons are good intentions, the Halloween functions rarely produce a closer walk with Christ, neither were they the excepted as anything other than pollution from the Kingdom of the Prince of Darkness. The earliest damage to our little ones’ faith is when we minimize ADONAI’S rejection of the occultism religions.

Pharmakeía means the occult, sorcery, witchcraft, illicit pharmaceuticals, trance, magical incantation with drugs (Gal. 5:20; Rev. 9:21; 18:23; Sept.: Ex. 7:22; Is. 47:9, 12).

Galatians 5:19-21 (NLT)

19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 

20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 

21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Every once in a while, the “once saved, always saved” doctrine comes under attack from of the Epistles.

The groupings of demonic spirits are demons of passion and carry the ability to excite the area of the Brain, where strong emotions live.

 The noun pharmakeía (G5331) means the preparation and giving of medicine, and in the New Testament, sorcery, enchantment. These are recreational drugs. The difference is these drugs stimulate the brain’s pleasure sector, but an important feature is the words, encantation assigns demonic Soul Ties to the victims.

By Christianizing Halloween, the worst thing is, the activity is seen by demons as worship to Pagan demigods—celebrating the ancient feast with the antiquated paraphernalia or tools of worship as the Pagans did is Paganism. Specific activity creates ties in the spirit-realm used as open doors for devils— and where these demons feel invited, they remain.

The Apostle Paul notes the Epistles were written by men called of Yeshua; the Jewish Messiah spoke likely of the spiritual crafts in the sphere of their influence.

H6049. עָנַן’ ānan: A verb meaning to practice soothsaying, fortune-telling, divining, magic. While it is clear from the contexts and the versions that this term is used for some type of magic or witchcraft, its etymology is unclear. Therefore, the specifics of the practice it connotes are equally unclear. However, it was strictly forbidden, and the one who practiced this act was detestable to God (Deut. 18:10, 12). Isaiah appears to use the term figuratively to demean the idolatrous Israelites (Isa. 57:3).

The nations who allowed incantations or divination within their borders lost their affluence and prosperity because ADONAI only dwells in the praises of His people.  We believe that only ADONAI carries the power to bless and prosper the people who fear and worship HIM. 

Eternal joy can’t be found in chemicals and drugs, which is a reaction of stimulation of hormones within the human Brain, however, real joy comes from walking in GOD’S order and fulfilling one’s purpose in HIM.

However, the poof of Paganism is more than a harmless custom; it is in  fact because they would not repent. What power an offensive custom has over some people who would stop or repent of their little fun time is proof that this celebration has the same effect over them as a full-blown religion.

As the plagues are released upon humankind, people want to repent of the things that they love. Even the death of a third of the Earth’s population dies. Perhaps the superstitious playfulness has turned into demonic control over a person’s will. They may never know that the occult ranks in the same category of worshiping demons and idols made of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood—idols.

Revelation 9:17-21

17 And in my vision, I saw the horses and the riders sitting on them. The riders wore armor that was fiery red and dark blue and yellow. The horses had heads like lions, and fire and smoke and burning sulfur billowed from their mouths. 

18 One-third of all the people on Earth were killed by these three plagues—by the fire and smoke and burning sulfur that came from the mouths of the horses. 

19 Their power was in their mouths and in their tails. For their tails had heads like snakes, with the power to injure people.

20 But the people who did not die in these plagues still refused to repent of their evil deeds and turn to God. They continued to worship demons and idols made of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood—idols that can neither see nor hear nor walk! 

21 And they did not repent of their murders or their witchcraft or their sexual immorality or their thefts.
