New Warfare

New Warfare; While listening to Christian radio, I heard an interesting news report regarding teachings that support the subject of creation. Not surprisingly, those who teach that mankind was divinely created by God rather than Darwin’s theory of evolution are now being referred to as pushing a hate-propaganda.  Of course, there is absolutely nothing within the teachings of creation that would suggest a dislike for any group that oppose Christian beliefs. This type of accusation is another subtle strategy of the enemy to disarm preachers who warn people about the dangers of sexual immorality.

Because of fear of persecution, some messages from the pulpit are no longer declaring war against sin.  It seems to me that these servants have forgotten what our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ taught His disciples about compromise.  His messages were clearly and directly against sin.  Even when Jesus ended the book of Revelations, He made it perfectly clear that what He said was what He meant. And, there is a list of individuals whose behavior would automatically keep them out of Heaven unless they repented and became overcomers.  Such people are to come out from those self-destructive experiences as well as separate themselves from any ungodly acquaintances in order to live a victorious life.

 ¹⁵ Outside are the homosexuals, those involved with the occult and with drugs, the sexually immoral, murderers, idol-worshippers, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood (Rev 22:14-15 Complete Jewish Bible).

If anybody waters down what Jesus said, or if anybody tries to explain away what Jesus meant – they are in jeopardy of being charged with the same offense.

Messages that promote love and acceptance of everybody regardless of their walk is becoming a new doctrine that establishes a precedence. There is coming a time when people will become offended with the preaching of holiness.  However, the problem with positive thinking is that love and acceptance of everybody regardless of their beliefs will not satisfy the requirement of salvation. Jesus was compassionate toward the hurting, poor and the disenfranchised, but Jesus was also very serious when it came to Satan’s ability to have an advantage in believers’ lives. Jesus warned us that when we make His Gospel “politically correct”, we are compromising with His enemy.

¹⁸ And the Jesus said, I warn everyone hearing the words of the prophecy in this book that if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues written in this book. ¹⁹ And if anyone takes anything away from the words in the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the Tree of Life and the holy city, as described in this book.  (Rev 22:18-19 CJB)

Today’s teaching presents Jesus as the kinder and positive side of the Law. Let’s look at the teachings of the Jewish Messiah and how He handled Torah (the Law).

My professor once said that when the Jewish Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus) taught from the Law, He read the Torah portion from the morality section of the texts.  He made remarks that got Him into trouble with the Jews.  For instance, Jesus would read the text, then add even stricter commentaries.  The Bible says that He spoke as One who had authority.

1. Matthew 5:22  But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
2. Matthew 5:28  But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
3. Matthew 5:32  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
4. Matthew 5:34  But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne:
5. Matthew 5:39  But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
6. Matthew 5:44  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Someone may ask, “What is the point here?”

The first part of this blog is to let us know where we are now.  The second part of this blog is to let you know where we are as it relates to Bible prophecy.

Remember, when Christ returns He is coming back with an army to fight against those who have surrounded Israel for the purpose of making war against God’s people. It is all about the land.

 It is becoming pretty obvious that most of the world (United Nations Security Council) is against the nation of Israel.  Below is a recent news report from last week that will bring us up-to-date with prophetic events.

Headline states: “Obama considering backing Security Council resolution on two-state solution.”

According to the report released Monday, the Administration may press for a negotiated settlement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Furthermore, the report claims that Obama is looking into using the Middle East Quartet to pressure both Israel and the Palestinian Authority into resuming negotiations and also the option of a binding solution from the Security Council.

A Security Council resolution would include restrictions on Israel’s opportunities to build in the West Bank and it is likely to recognize East Jerusalem as the capital of a Palestinian state.

The report was published just as United States’ Vice President, Joe Biden arrived in Israel for a two-day visit and a day after the announcement that Prime Minister Netanyahu had cancelled his annual visit to the United States. If this is the reason for Netanyahu’s cancellation, it is about the third time within three years that a scheduling situation such as this has taken place between the two nations. And, whenever the United States of America prophetically finds herself in opposition with the nation of Israel, we should expect unexplained record-breaking weather events. God is sovereign and He who controls the elements is also the One who controls Bible prophesy.
