We are continuing with our series and study of Revelation’s Lamb. Our last blog left off reviewing the qualifications that Jesus met in fulfilling the many prophecies regarding the Messiah. Traditionally, the event of the High Sabbath during Jesus’ crucifixion would have been on a Wednesday. Jews count an evening to the next evening as one day.  Therefore, He would have died on that Wednesday evening and in the grave, the full days of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. His Resurrection would have occurred early Sunday morning.  Jesus’ crucifixion had to be on Wednesday and it had to be before sundown or it would have defiled Sabbath. (Check!)
In other words, Yeshua proved above and beyond, and without a doubt that He was indeed the Messiah.

Hold on, (just in case you still have a doubt lingering) let us do it this way:

The Mathematical Odds of Christ Fulfilling Prophecy
The focus of this topic is to look at the probability of Christ fulfilling the prophecies in the Old Testament.
So, again, what is the probability?
Probability, also known as “odds,” is a branch of mathematics that measures the likelihood that a given event will occur. To begin, let’s look at some interesting “odds”:
Being struck by lightning in a year = 7 x 105 or 1 in 700,000
Being killed by lightning in a year = 2 x 106 or 1 in 2,000,000
Becoming president = 1 x 107 or 1 in 10,000,000
A meteorite landing on your house = 1.8 x 1014 or 1 in 180,000,000,000,000
You will eventually die = 1 in 1
As you can see, the probability of being struck or killed by lightning, becoming president, or having a meteorite land on your house, progressively increases, given the event; however, someone somewhere will be that 1 in 10x, and that someone could be you.

In other words, one person would have to have all these things to take place in their lives to compare to the odds of any one person fulfilling the entire list of prophecies pointing to the Yeshua (Jesus Christ).

Now, can you picture in your mind, Yeshua (The Lord’s Salvation) walks up to the Seven Seals with their, exceptional demand for the unique individuality (the harmonizing with the exact signet) as He would open all Seven Seals?

I want to worship right here. Hallelujah!
What I am saying is that if one was to take some of these factors and get divine understanding, he or she would find a way to praise the Lord, Jesus Christ as our unique and righteous way to Adonai, our Heavenly Father!
The relationship with our Savior takes on new meaning when we meditate on these facts.

(CWSB Dictionary)
The description of the servant of God who suffers and dies for the sins of the people in Is. 53 applies to no other person in history with any degree of certainty or propriety except Jesus Christ. The book of Is. is mentioned in the NT in Matt. 3:3; 4:14; 8:17; 12:17; 13:14, 35; 15:7; Mark 1:2; 7:6; Luke 3:4; 4:17; John 1:23; 12:38, 39, 41; Acts 8:28, 30; 28:25; Rom. 9:27, 29; 10:16, 20; 15:12.

(CWSB Dictionary)
In Matt. 16:13, 16, 20 “the Son of God,” “the Son of man,” and “the Christ” all are used. By using this name before His judges, Jesus openly professed Himself to be the Messiah and was so understood by all present (Matt. 26:64; Mark 14:62; Luke 22:69, 70; John 1:52; 5:27).

Revelation 6:1
(Amplified Bible – AMP)
61: A seal, sphragis, could only be broken by the one who has authority over it. In breaking the seals and disclosing God’s judgments, Christ demonstrated His own divine authority over creation.

GRK: ὄπισθεν κατεσφραγισμένον σφραγῖσιν ἑπτά
NAS: sealed up with seven seals.
KJV: sealed with seven seals.
INT: on [the] back having been sealed with seven seals.

(CWSB Dictionary)
H817. אָשָׁם ’āšām: A masculine noun used to express the concept of guilt or offense. It can connote the deeds which bring about guilt (Ps. 68:21[22]). It can also express the condition of being guilty, that is, the results of the actions as shown in Genesis 26:10 (niv), “You would have brought guilt upon us.” This word can also refer to the restitution that the guilty party was to make to the victim in the case of property damage (Num. 5:7). The Biblical writer also uses this term to designate the guilt offering, the offering which is presented to the Lord in order to absolve the person guilty of an offense against God or man, which can be estimated and compensated (Lev. 5:6).

“Further Instructions for the Peace Offering”

Lord, I thank You for becoming my offering of restitution, my payment to Adonai, the God of Israel! Lord, You are my Bread offering of thanksgiving as well. And, because of You, I am made holy. You are my Sanctifier! Amen.

Leviticus 7:11-15
(NLT)

11 “These are the instructions regarding the different kinds of peace offerings that may be presented to the Lord. 12 If you present your peace offering as an expression of thanksgiving, the usual animal sacrifice must be accompanied by various kinds of bread made without yeast—thin cakes mixed with olive oil, wafers spread with oil, and cakes made of choice flour mixed with olive oil. 13 This peace offering of thanksgiving must also be accompanied by loaves of bread made with yeast. 14 One of each kind of bread must be presented as a gift to the Lord. It will then belong to the priest who splatters the blood of the peace offering against the altar. 15 The meat of the peace offering of thanksgiving must be eaten on the same day it is offered. None of it may be saved for the next morning.

The  Definition of the Greek word for Ungodliness; ἀσεβής.

765. ἀσεβής asebḗs; gen. aseboús, masc.-fem., neut. asebés, adj. from the priv. a (G0001), without, and sébomai (G4576), to worship, venerate. Basically, it means godless, without fear and reverence of God. It does not mean irreligious, but one who actively practices the opposite of what the fear of God demands. Asebḗs is one characterized by immoral and impious behavior. Often opposite of díkaios (G1342), just (Rom. 4:5; 5:6). Asebḗs also occurs in 2 Pet. 2:5; 3:7; Jude 1:4, 15.

Jeremiah 11:19-20
(CWSB)
19 But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.
20 But, O Lord of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed — my cause. International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)
This is a title specially bestowed upon our Lord by John the Baptist (Jn 1:29-36), “Behold, the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world!” In Testament of the Twelve Patriarchs an apocryphal book, probably of the 2nd century–we have the term used for the Messiah, “Honor Judah and Levi, for from them shall arise for you the Lamb of God, saving all nations by grace.”

Revelation 4:11 – 5:10
(NLT)
11 “You are worthy, O Lord our God,
to receive glory and honor and power.
For you created all things,
and they exist because you created what you pleased.”

The Lamb Opens the Scroll
1 Then I saw a scroll in the right hand of the one who was sitting on the throne. There was writing on the inside and the outside of the scroll, and it was sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel, who shouted with a loud voice: “Who is worthy to break the seals on this scroll and open it?” 3 But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll and read it.
4 Then I began to weep bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll and read it. 5 But one of the twenty-four elders said to me, “Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir to David’s throne, has won the victory. He is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
6 Then I saw a Lamb that looked as if it had been slaughtered, but it was now standing between the throne and the four living beings and among the twenty-four elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which represent the sevenfold Spirit of God that is sent out into every part of the earth. 7 He stepped forward and took the scroll from the right hand of the one sitting on the throne. 8 And when he took the scroll, the four living beings and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they held gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of God’s people. 9 And they sang a new song with these words:
“You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it.
For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.
10 And you have caused them to become a Kingdom of priests for our God.
And they will reign on the earth.”

Isaiah 29:10-13
(AMPC)
10 For the Lord has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep. And He has closed your eyes, the prophets; and your heads, the seers, He has covered and muffled.
11 And the vision of all this has become for you like the words of a book that is sealed. When men give it to one who can read, saying, Read this, I pray you, he says, I cannot, for it is sealed.
12 And when the book is given to him who is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray you, he says, I cannot read.
13 And the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips but remove their hearts and minds far from Me, and their fear and reverence for Me are a commandment of men that is learned by repetition [without any thought as to the meaning].
